Athena walked onto the tourney grounds with her head held high. Despite her father's initial hesitation, he ultimately agreed to let her participate in the final day of the tourney match.
Despite what had happened the day before, many spectators still turned up to watch.
"Did you hear? King Orion has decided not to attend today's tourney. What a pity!"
"Yeah! I heard it was because of what happened yesterday…"
It was regrettable, but it was what it was. Athena wanted her father to be the one to crown her the winner, but she would just have to settle for someone else.
Security around the tourney grounds had been tightened too. There were more guards on patrol to maintain the peace.
The beginning of the day went off without a hitch. The ten finalists prevailed. Athena was observing the leaderboards when the Black Knight came up to her.
"Are you ready for the grand finale?" He asked.
"No," She replied with a smile, "Are you?"
