Athena didn't know why but she looked away from him when he did so. She had nothing to hide. In fact, she had never been able to hide anything successfully from him.
"This must be the birthday princess! The one who was thought to be dead but reappeared alive and well?" Lady Krystal spoke without reservation as she came forward with General Matthias.
Her revealing dress was a lot more scandalous than Athena had previously assumed from afar. Her breasts looked as if they were about to spill over the top of her dress!
"The very one," Athena replied her with a smile, "I'm surprised that Lady Krystal knows my matters so well. Is there a lack of gossip in Keltin?"
The look of horror on some of the nearby guests only served to make Athena's pride swell, knowing she made an impactful remark. She knew it was risky, but she was not about to let Lady Krystal get away with a jab like that on her birthday.
