The next day, after dropping Azure to his middle school, the Twynes arrived in Oliver's car at Huxley Academy.
Olivia realized that this would be the usual at some point.
Oliver stifled his yawn as he drowsily got out of the car while Olivia exited through the other door.
"You okay?" She asked, barely supporting Oliver's back with her palm. "You look like you'll drop on the floor any time soon."
"I f*cking hate morning practice," Oliver scratched the side of his face, not even containing his yawn this time. "Who even invented these?"
Olivia chuckled at his morning misery. "It can't be helped. You're the star and captain of the Huxley's Cheetah Dunkers. You need to train intensively if you want to maintain that status."
Oliver groaned, stretching his arms overhead. "I'd gladly trade my position for a few more hours of sleep."
They walked towards the entrance of Huxley Academy, where a couple of students were already entering as well.
