To say that she was speechless was an understatement.
Olivia looked around her and saw that people were talking again, covering their lips as if she wouldn't see them murmur about her and the scene Oliver was causing.
She turned her eyes to Oliver, who was now silent but glaring at her like he was imagining the most brutal way to torture her.
Olivia took a deep breath, trying to gather her composure despite the tension around them. It was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
She couldn't let Oliver's outburst escalate into a full-blown public spectacle. It would ruin the effort they made this morning if he was planning to give the crowd a new 'show' to watch.
But this time, it was unscripted.
"Oliver," she began, her voice controlled. "I have no idea what you're talking about. I was sitting in the library, minding my own business."
"Don't play dumb with me, Olivia!" Oliver hissed, his grip on her wrist tightening. "People saw you!"
