"Wait, wait, wait, so you did all of that, risked your life, and killed one of Maleck's followers just to help the unlucky people of the ship?" Limmy asked as he blinked.
"Hmm, if you put it that way. I guess?"
"..."
'This kid…' Limmy couldn't find the words to describe this guy at all. He was just a walking-talking alien as far as he was concerned. He didn't seem to care at all what could happen, he just does what he wants.
In normal cases, that's just recklessness and ignorance. However, this kid seemed aware of what his desire to do whatever he wanted could lead him to. Perhaps that was the reason he was able to kill Karnos because he knew one of those people was going to come to the kitchen.
'He is smart and yet somehow foolishly carefree. How can a mix like this even exist?'
"Let's go, Limmy. That fish won't carry itself." He said as he opened the door and walked down from the first floor.
"So you were indeed on the first floor, huh?"
"Yeah, luckily for me. I had some money saved so I could get myself out of that place. However, I don't have much left, it won't be long before I have to go down there too."
"Hahaha, don't worry, by the time your money runs out, I will kill that guy," Redd said as he roughly tapped Limmy on the shoulder.
"Haha… I hope so."
Reaching the kitchen, the two were surprised by what they saw. The place that was previously a wrecked mess was now somehow back to how it was before Kai came in.
"Now this is weird. Did the tall guy fix this place in a few hours?" Redd asked.
"I don't know. When I carried you back to the room, it was still just like how I left it."
Looking back, Redd also noticed that the dead woman was nowhere to be found and so was the broken handrail of the fifth floor. It was completely confusing.
However, for better or worse, this was good since they didn't have to clean after what Redd did. Approaching the kitchen counter, the boy found the grilled fish. So, he quickly put in plates and then brought them out of the kitchen with Limmy in tow.
The two then walked toward the lowest floor where the wretched group was thrown. The moment they stepped into that place, the foul smell hit them again like a train.
Looking around him, Redd smiled before he lifted the plates in the air.
"Everyone! I came here with good news. I found some food for you!" He yelled, catching everyone's attention.
The moment the people heard the word food, their diluted minds quickly sharpened as they looked at him and then at the plates in his hands.
"F-Food…"
"Yeah, yeah, wait guys, I will give each one of you a plate."
After that, Redd walked around the people, giving each one of them a piece of the fish. People immediately jumped down on the food like hungry beasts. They didn't care about their mannerisms and who would? Some of them didn't eat for weeks so their bodies craved any substance that they could consume.
It didn't take long for tears of joy to fall down their face as they ate the food.
"Thank… you…" One said as tears and snot filled his face.
"I can't… believe… I'm alive…" Another ate as he murmured some barely audible words.
"Hick… Thank you… Young man… You're a saint…"
Looking at everyone with a satisfied smile, Redd sat down on the last step of the stairs as he exhaled a long breath. The intense pain from his injuries made it hard for him to move freely.
"You did great, Redd. You're really something else." Limmy said with a warm smile.
"Hahahaha! I'm just doing what I want." He shrugged.
"No, really. Your kindness is something that I deeply respect. We barely met a few hours ago and yet I really respect you. Thanks, on behalf of these people, thank you."
Nods of acknowledgment echoed in the dark room. Seeing these people smiling with joy, made it all feel worth it. It gave Redd a sense of freedom like no other.
'Hmm, oh right, I have notifications, no?' He thought as he quickly summoned the holographic images.

'Nice, although I couldn't absorb his blood essence. Well, it is what it is. I can't get greedy.' He thought to himself.
As he was like that, suddenly, Redd's eyes widened slightly as instantly rose from his place and looked at the stairs that led to the Atrium's hall. His eyes squinted and his carefree expression turned instantly serious. Then, slowly, he signaled for everyone to stay silent.
"What is it?" Limmy whispered.
"Stay silent and don't move," Redd whispered back.
'What the hell is this feeling? I felt a chill run down my spine for a second as if someone just looked at me.' He thought to himself as he slowly picked up his Crimsonmorph which was in its sword form.
Then, he aimed it up.
"You, show yourself." He said with a serious tone.
A few seconds of pure silence passed before something finally moved. Out of the shadows of the stairs rose a figure that shocked everyone present. The figure was all clad in black clothes. He wore a jacket with a collar that reached up to his nose and covered half of his face, he had long and messy black hair. Everything about this man exuded an aura of wickedness and eeriness that even made Redd slightly apprehensive of him.
"You have some sharp senses to feel my presence. You're the one who killed muscle brain, right?"
"Muscle brain? Ooooh, you call that guy muscle-brain? I like that nickname!" Redd nodded his head in acknowledgment.
'This isn't the time to agree with him over something like that!!! Don't you see that he's strong?!' Limmy cried in his head but didn't dare to say a word.
"The boss wants to see you." The man replied.
"The boss?"
"Maleck. He wants to see you."
Hearing that, Limmy's face paled completely as he found himself shaking. Those few words were more than enough for him to realize that Redd was dead… No, he was done for. He almost gave up right there and then. But, he quickly realized what he thought.
'No, no, I can't be a coward now! Redd had helped these people and risked his life for it!'
"W-Wait, plea-" As Limmy opened his mouth to speak, he received a glare from the shadow man and it immediately silenced him.
'Yup, I'm a coward!' Crying inwardly at his wimpiness, Limmy finally looked at his new friend. The latter seemed so casual that he almost forgot what they were even talking about.
"Oh, that piece of shit. Good, I want to meet him too."
"Piece of shit?"
"Yeah, he's a scumbag and I hate him."
'YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE HONEST ABOUT IT, YOU IDIOT!!!!' Officially, Limmy was panicking.
