Damian hissed in pain. He didn't expect Lola to make him bleed to save Calista, and surprisingly, it worked. His blood made her shut up and whatever was possessing her was gone. The only problem was the wound from Lola's claws. It wouldn't stop bleeding and Calista wouldn't stop sucking on it.
"What, are you disappointed?" Lola asked the duke when she noticed him pursing his lips. "If you think the lady is always pretty, you're wrong. Just like whenever we shift forms during the full moon, she would get weird the morning before the night of a full moon," the maid explained.
"Of course, she had no idea about it. I have to take care of her in the morning and she takes care of me at midnight," Lola continued.
Damian was confused. Something serious happened to Calista, but her maid was still chill about it. He was close to freaking out and telling the others in the mansion to be alert for some possible possession that might happen to them as well.
