My sword was now planted in the ground, this meant that I no longer had to enhance my sword. This meant that I was free to heal in the middle of combat.
Arthur's breathing was a little fast, he was sweating and clearly starting to tire. And so, I began to run at him at top speed, reaching him almost instantly. But, when I got too close, his palm struck my stomach and a ball of condensed air sort of exploded.
Several cuts formed across my stomach, and I was blown back. But, I healed myself almost instantly, and charged at him again. This time, he rushed at me.
And soon, my arm and his blade clashed. My arm was dismembered, but I launched a punch at him while healing myself. He was caught off guard by that, allowing my fist to land on his chin. But, he grit his teeth and placing his hand on my throat, he began to burn through it.
'Can't breathe-'
I struggled for a moment, before deciding to heal myself and keep attacking. As his hand burnt through my throat, I pushed forward, and used my mouth to bite his neck.
My teeth sunk into his flesh as I tore some of it off, he released a blast of air to create some time for himself before holding his throat in pain, then using a mixture of healing Magic and flame Magic, he recreated some of the lost tissue before cauterizing the wound.
The commentator spoke once more.
"Reinhardt just regenerated a limb and fought while getting his throat burnt... and then Arthur had a chunk of his flesh bit off of him but used flame and healing Magic to stop the bleeding and to regenerate a little. Is this even safe? Shouldn't the referees stop this already?"
Baring my teeth, I spat out the bits of flesh stuck in my mouth. Then, I crouched down and hunched over a little. Arthur gripped his katana as he slowly approached me.
We were fairly evenly matched, although he had more methods of dealing damage than I, he couldn't endure as much damage as me. In terms of speed, I was probably faster, but it wasn't as if he couldn't keep up, after all he had lightning Magic along with several decades of fighting of experience to help him predict my moves.
However, in terms of physical strength, I was overwhelmingly superior. And so, when he finally got close enough, he swung his sword down at me. He intended on bisecting me, but I dodged out of the way.
Then, using Partial Enhancement, I shattered my arms at several different points, causing it to lengthen slightly. Then, using my shattered arm as a whip, I swung it.
And when my whip like arm finally made contact with his throat, I regenerated my arm and gripped onto his throat. Then, stepping forward I raised him into the air and slammed him into the ground, causing a crater to form.
Then, I raised my free hand, preparing to slam my fist into his face, but his hand was on my stomach. And on instinct, I jumped and dashed back. And, the moment I did that, a colossal flame came from his hand.
He spat out blood, he looked annoyed. Clearly, he thought that blast of flame would've been a winning move. And I had to agree, a move like that would slow my regeneration speed due to the high output.
The higher the output of an attack, the higher my healing output needed to be to heal from it. And so, the amount of Mana needed increased. Now, for a fight like this, Mana wasn't a limiting factor for me even if my efficient wasn't very good.
The same went for Arthur, his Mana Capacity wasn't small but it wasn't exactly massive. But, what was impressive was his efficency. He would use the absolute minimum amount of Mana to get the maximum result. And, he would make sure every drop counted.
What this meant was that neither of us would be out of Mana any time soon. In other words...
We could fight to our heart's content.
Then, he sent out multiple blades of wind. I created a spherical shield of blood to protect myself. This time, instead of wrapping my entire body with it, I made a sort semi sphere. That way, even if lightning attacks were used, I wouldn't be affected by it.
Once his onslaught of attacks stopped, I turned the shield of blood into a bullet and fired it. The bullet wasn't meant to do any damage, all it would do was create a moment.
A single moment where he couldn't see me. And so, when it was close enough, the blood comprising the bullet spread out and covered his vision.
And in that instant, I ran at top speed and managed to get behind him. My goal was simple.
'To land a single blow, with my maximum strength.'
