Chapter 22 - The Stranger

Mr. Bruce's lips stretched into a dubious smile, "I like them fierce and saucy," he commented and continued watching Lisa as she effortlessly and indifferently sipped her drink as though she wasn't under someone's lewd scrutiny.

He could see her blushing face getting more profound, which means, she was getting drunk. Drunk girls are the best, because they unleash the wildness in them... In bed, he thought.

Once she was done with two more shots, Lisa stood on her feet and swayed a little. She felt dizzy and her clear gaze from earlier started to go blurry. She shook her head in an attempt to shake the effect off, but no, it wasn't that easy.

The waiter sighed regrettably. Her previous soberness was a facade… he should have known earlier. But now, he can't help her.

Lisa dug her hand into her Jean pocket and brought out some cash. She slapped it on the counter and said, "Keep the change."
