At the hospital…
Dicky and Kaizer dropped her off and left. Entering the hospital, she was welcomed with hostility. The nurses she met on her way either ignored her existence, glared at her with disgust, or pointed fingers while murmuring. But whichever one they did, they couldn't get Lisa to give a fuck, because she has a thick wall of indifference built around her.
Instead of going to her father's ward, she first went to see Doctor Phil. With a knock on the door, she pushed it open and went in.
Doctor Phil was attending to some matters with a nurse. The minute she entered, the nurse bowed to Doctor Phil and left, but not before giving Lisa a loathing stare.
Twirling his chair, Doctor Phil said with thick sarcasm. "Oh, look who we have here, Green City's infamous Lisa Qin. To what do I owe this visit?"
