That evening, Mr. James arrived at the hospital to meet Mr. Qin and his Secretary in the ward.
"I heard you were admitted to the hospital. How are you feeling now?" Mr. James asked the moment he closed the door.
"I'm still alive. Did you bring what I asked you?" Mr. Qin asked.
"Of course. But Mr. Qin, I don't think this is fair to your daughter…" Mr. James said while handing the file to Mr. Qin who was sitting on the edge of the bed.
"It's left to you to make it fair or not," Mr. Qin took the file. He flipped open the blue cover and paused to read the title. 'Severing of ties.' Seeing that he was hesitating to flip the next page, Mr. James sighed.
"This is not comfortable for you too. You should let this go and try something else."
Mr. Qin ignored him and read the whole thing before signing on the necessary pages. "Take it to her and let her sign it." He closed the document and handed it to Mr. James.
