Lisa watched Linda recall the whole story like it wasn't a big deal. The sinister urge to pin her neck against the wall suddenly corroded her mind, but for the sake of her father's health, she suppressed her inner demon.

So all these years, she had been suffering for a crime she didn't commit. For five years, everyone made her believe she committed such horrendous crime under the influence of alcohol. So… it never really happened?

The fullness in Lisa's chest weighed tremendously on her. It was unbearable; the feeling of betrayal, heartbreak, disappointment, and others she couldn't find words for, attempted to drown her consciousness as she suddenly felt lightheaded. But no, she refused to succumb—She continued to fix her unwavering stare at her so-called cousin-turned-stepsister... Not knowing what to do to her.
