The wedding had finally come to an end, and the royal family were now saying their goodbyes to the last of the guests, thanking them for coming to the event.
Katrin stood beside Ethan at the door, thanking and wishing them safe journeys home. She could feel eyes watching her and when she looked in a direction she met gaze with Princess Gloria who was peaking at her from her carriage window, they held gazes for a few seconds before a hand pulled the princess's curtain shut.
Katrin was too exhausted, physically and mentally drained from the whirlwind of a day to care about why a lot of people where now steering at her with questioning eyes rather than the disapproved looks she got that morning.
"Goodnight, Your Highnesses," a lasts guests said, bowing to the family before leaving the room. Katrin couldn't help but smile at the formality reminding her that she was now a part of the royal family.
