"Eldor, watch your mouth," Ruby warned, avoiding looking at Ethan's reaction.
"Why should I? Because he is powerful?"
"Because he can freeze you with a wave of his hand."
"So what? Does he really expect us to go to that place? He might be an all-powerful wizard, but even he can't protect both me and Katrin from the beasts."
"That is why you are not going with them," Ruby replied calmly.
"What?" Eldor had calmed down now, brushing his long, messy red hair backward. "What are you saying?"
"You are not going with them to Eldoria. Ethan can't protect both of you, but he needs Katrin to locate the gem, so it's best that you stay back."
"Are you joking?" Eldor scoffed, but his sister did not respond. "No. I do not agree to this. You are putting her life at risk for a stone."
