Elvira's eyes twinkled with a golden hue. She and her beloved were the only ones in that room. Although Wivior had asked a serious question, her heart couldn't help but swirl and flutter in his presence. Despite the uncertainty of the outcome, his unexpected visit meant the world to her.
"I asked you a question, and you are smiling silly at me." Wivior's tone was bitter.
Elvira straightened her expression. She wasn't even aware of the grin on her face. Was it that bad?
He picked up the lamp off the floor. He was furious, but his face still looked ravishingly handsome.
"Wivior, I am so glad you came to see me."
"Glad?" He raised an eyebrow. "I am your enemy, a wizard. I could be here to hurt you or transfer you to another prison myself. Or I might be planning to deceive you once more."
"It doesn't matter. I would go anywhere with you," she said.
