As she continued to be lost in thought she didn't know that Travis had walked up to her and said, "Hey Little Spirit Your Pup is done with his food." When she didn't respond to him, he walked up and sat next to her.
Travis touched her cheek to not only get her attention but to feel her warmth One last time before she left him. Travis reacted out of instinct before he even knew what he was doing. He was about to take his hand away but what happened next caught him completely by surprise.
She rubbed her head on the big palm and then caught herself. She pulled her head back and looking at him saying "What's up?" Travis could only look at her for a few more moments before he said, "Your Pup is done eating."
Travis found himself reaching for her again and leaned over to touch his head to hers. Scarlet could not make herself move or find the will to stop him. She found herself leaning into him like there was an uncontrollable force keeping her there.
When she looked into his eyes, she felt like she was completely pulled into them and was drowning. There was nothing to worry about when she was in his arms, she felt completely at ease. She tried to find the fear that usually comes when it feels like others that have gotten close before, but there wasn't any trace of it.
Scarlet tried to break away from whatever spell he had over her. "Kitty" was all that she could bring herself to say, and that was when he Kissed her. It started out Small and Sweet, but Scarlet found herself grabbing him and deepening the Kiss. They were intertwined in each other's arms just getting lost in the passion of the Kiss.
When they finally ended Kiss Scarlet whispered "Travis" without even realizing it until Travis answered her "Yes".
It was then that she realized what had just happened and what she had said. Panic filled her and she pushed him away and Yelling "NO!!"
Backing away into the wall she disappeared and just as she completely disappeared as Alex and Doctor Sebastian came running out and didn't notice that the Pup was pulled into the ground by Scarlet or that she was running away.
They Both ran up to Travis demanding to know what happened and where Their Little Female was. Travis tried to explain but the other Two were too Angry to want to hear it. They allowed Travis to come out and talk to her and try to convince her to stay and he ended up hurting her and making her leave.
When he was finally able to speak, he told them that she said his name and freaked out. Then they finally understood why she left. There was nothing that they could do. He got close to her just like they all wanted to be, and she couldn't handle it. She felt that she couldn't trust anyone and didn't want to get close to others. Their Little Female gave them all nick names because Real Names were too personal. For her to call Travis by his name was huge. He made her like him enough to say it, but she freaked out in the end.
All these things were running through each of their heads and just stood there for a few Minutes Processing the information. Since none of them were able to follow Scarlet, They decided to go their separate ways and look for her.
Scarlet was in the Earth traveling in some random direction for an unknown amount of time. When she came above ground, all she could do was hold her Pup as she cried Hysterically.
A young Female came up to her and said, "You are okay now Female. You are safe." This snapped her out of her Hysteria, and she looked around.
What she saw was a sweet looking Young Female and She looked like she was a Fox. The Young Female reached out and tried to wipe Scarlet's face making her shrink back and come back to her senses.
Scarlet looked at the Female and said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to have a breakdown here. If you excuse me, I'll be moving on now." She got up and was about to make a move to walk out of the Middle of the Village, but the Young Female stopped her. She said "It's okay no One here will hurt y…" She stopped talking before she finished because she seen the Mysterious Females eyes. There was no mistaking it. It had to be her, no One else could have those Red Eyes.
She got down on her knees, and said "Oh 'Great Spirit' is there anything that we can do to make you happier? If there is anything that you desire, we shall be happy to help you retrieve it."
When everyone seen and heard the Young Fox Female, they all bowed and repeated what she said to some degree. Scarlet didn't know what to say but as she Looked around, she said "I'm not who you think I am, just don't tell anyone that you have seen me." With that she jumped into the air and ran away.
That was the plan anyway. The Young Fox Female yelled "Wait Please My mother is sick Please help her." Well, This got her attention Scarlet was over the trees and was about to keep going but when she heard 'Mother'.
Scarlet stopped and allowed herself to fall back down and out of sight. The Young Fox Female thought that her last hope just disappeared but when she heard Scarlet say, "What's Wrong with her?" did she realize that there was still hope for her Mother.
The Young Fox Female looked in the direction of the voice and said, "She is sick and is getting weaker every day." Swallowing her sobs, she continued "We had different Doctors look at her, but none of them can figure out what is wrong."
Scarlet cleaned herself up some, but her eyes were still puffy. She took a breath to calm down and walked out saying "Take me to her."
The Young Fox Female's face lit up as she said "Please this way. I'm not sure how much time she has left. My name is Niki."
Niki led Scarlet to the hut that had her mother in it and as soon as she entered, she could smell that there was nothing that she could do. Death was upon her, and it was too late to do anything but make her more comfortable. This was not what she needed after that incident with Kitty.
Scarlet made her way to the side with Niki and said "I'm sorry, but there is nothing that I can do for her except make her more comfortable. What she has, is to advanced." Niki broke down and screamed at Scarlet "You are the 'Great Spirit'! You are supposed to help people who need you. Well, my mother needs you! So, help her!"
One of her Males came over and held her looking sad for Niki and Glared at Scarlet. He said "If you couldn't help then why did you come? Why did you give her False Hope if you were going to do nothing."
Scarlet was already upset and now Furious "First off, she asked me to come when I was trying to leave. Second, if you would have made sure the wound was cleaned and didn't keep it dirty the Infection would not have gotten into the Blood Stream and been the cause of her Death in the First place."
Reaching into her bag she Pulled out Six pills and said "You can give her One of these Three times a day no more. It's for the pain to make her more comfortable, but she doesn't have much time left. And for all your information I am a Human not some 'Great Spirit' and I have never claimed to be. I am just different from you and have no obligation to help anyone, but I took the time to come and check on her. Since I am now unwelcome here, I shall take my leave."
Scarlet stormed out of the hut and was about to go into the air again when someone from the crowd threw a Rock at her head. Of course, it didn't make it to her, and she sent it flying back at the sender. She Glared at everyone around and said, "I am leaving now if anyone is looking for a fight let's get it done now so I can be on my way I have some place to be that is not here."
After they seen the rock fly back at the Male and smashed his face, they didn't want to move and let her go. Scarlet Finally got to leave the Small Village with a heavy heart. She went off in a random direction and landed then went into another random direction.
