It took a couple of blinks before she realized that it really was him and still didn't know if this was a dream. So, when she reached up to touch his face the Little Fuzzball rushed up and licked his Mommies face.
The Males thought that he woke her up and all looked at him Angrily until she said, "So I really am awake." As Scarlet looked around, she noticed the other Two were here as well.
Alex put his hand on her face to make her look at him and said, "Are you uncomfortable anywhere do you need anything?"
Travis was getting ready to make food and Doctor Sebastian was already grabbing her face to give her water.
After she got the water, she was more Awake and Alert. Scarlet shook herself to make herself come to her senses and she really started to register what was going on. It wasn't until she had tried to get up that she realized that she was still in Fan Boys coil and wrapped in Web Heads Spider Web Blanket. She can't just get away from them, could she? Just then the pain of separation started to go away.
Laying on the coil she tried to get out of it and make them leave but Alex just held her and said "Please just rest. We are not leaving you alone when you are like this and will be taking care of you. We all know that you will either kick us out or leave later but we are here for you now."
With that he held on to her tighter and said, "Travis is making you soup and if you need anything Doctor Sebastian will get you anything in the meantime."
Scarlet didn't really know what to do, but since she was too tired and couldn't move at all she looked at Fan Boy she said "How is it that all of you are always able to find me? I know I don't leave tracks and I change my smell."
Alex didn't want to give away that he noticed she was always heading towards Sunrise and said "With your smell at this time is difficult to change. I can smell it from a long way away."
"The stories are also a hard thing to ignore." Said Doctor Sebastian.
This got Scarlet's attention when she looked at him, she didn't even need to ask, he just started telling her. "The Fox Village a few days back; they talked about the 'Great Spirit' and how she is a fake. Saying that she doesn't know anything and that you Killed Her Mother."
This angered Travis and Alex because they weren't going to tell her. Doctor Sebastian Ignored them and continued "When I see the Females Mother. The One that died she was already past any point of saving. They said that you gave them something for her pain and that is what killed her. Don't you worry though I set them straight with the truth. I told them what you said was true, and how you concluded that you did. They excepted my answer because even though I am an Unwanted I am still a Doctor, and as a Male from these lands my word more expectable."
Scarlet just looked at him and said "I don't care what they think about me. If they ask for my help next time, I will turn them down. I only left Pain Killers for the Mother because she was suffering and didn't have anything to do with their opinions of me. She was just dying because of no One knows how to keep clean." After a short pause she said, "How long in between the visits?"
Doctor Sebastian thought about it and said "Let's see they said that you showed up around Late Morning and I got there around Mid Afternoon. Not long after you left, I guess. I did my own assessment and couldn't do anything the same as you. When they asked me about the Pills you gave them, I told them to give them to her and they would help. I said that you were a good person and that you always do what you can. If nothing can be done, then it is true."
He looked her in the eye and said "I know you don't care about what others think about you, but I do. I won't have anyone saying anything bad about you. I Love You and won't have anyone stand for it. I will shout from the top of every Mountain that You are the Female I choose, and You are Better than any Female that has ever walked these Lands."
Looking at Him Scarlet couldn't think of anything to say. She was so confused on the thought process of these Males, but her face still reddened after he said that.
Scarlet said "I don't get why. We don't know each other, and you are already saying Love like you have known me for years."
Travis said "From what we have Seen and been Told you are an Amazing Female and should be treated as the 'Great Spirit' that people have believed you are. You want to know us? I was raised in that Village that You walked Me out of. My older brother feared me, so he told me that I was not allowed to change into this form and told everyone that I was going to bring Bad Luck to any that came to close. I grew up with everyone Hating me. Most Males tried to kill me either on Their Own or with Their Females Orders. They were really going to Kill me that day because I changed to try and help you, but you saved me, and I owe you, my life. The more that I learned about you the more that I loved and wanted to be with you. I can't control the feelings that I have for you that are getting stronger every time I get to See You. When you leave me behind, I feel a Bottomless Dark Hole in my Chest and feel like I have been abandoned by My Female. I follow you because You make Me feel Complete. I Love You and want to make you Happy because a 'Great Female' like you should be treated like the 'Great Spirit' that others believe you to be."
Scarlet was not expecting to hear that and felt bad for Her Kitty knowing his story now.
Alex Followed next saying "I was never allowed in my Nest because of my Color was seen as Weakness, Unlike the Darker Colors that my Siblings were born with. I Left at a young age and have been on my own trying to survive ever since. I caught your smell that day we met, and it was so intoxicating that I needed to know what it was and find you. The way that you kicked me out of the cave that day was something completely new that I wanted to know Everything about you. Everything I have seen and heard about you I Love and want to know More and do nothing all day but hold you like this and just lesson to you talk."
Before she could say anything, Doctor Sebastian said "I was also cast out because of my color as well, but I became a Doctor so that I could get respect. When I made myself Stronger and Smarter the Females started to pay attention to me. They were all shallow though and only cared about me being a Doctor. I never had any feelings towards them and only wanted the Respect from my Nest. When I see you Break the Web and Defeat the Nest Leader like it was nothing, I knew that I found the Female of my dreams and would do anything or go anywhere just to be with you."
After hearing all of them give her a clip notes version of their lives Scarlet felt awkward. Since it was the middle of the night, and she couldn't move from her spot she did the only thing that she could. She pulled the covers over her head and held her Pup tight. With him being about the size of a Pug now he was a better heater than before; being under the soft blanket on the Cool Body she felt better except for the fact that she felt so awkward with their Confessions.
Scarlet didn't know what to do, since this had never happened to her before. Everyone that she has come across has either Hated her or tried to Kill her.
As she was deep in her thoughts, she suddenly felt arms snaking around her and holding her tight enough to make her feel safe but not too tight to be Uncomfortable or Threating. She wanted to push him away but couldn't make herself put the Feeling into Action. She just let him hold her.
As she started to enjoy the closeness that she had not had for years, when Travis said "The Soup is ready. Here all you need to do is pop your head out and open up. I'll feed it to you."
Peeking her head out of the blanket, all Travis could see was her eyes and he laughed at how cute she was. Scarlet said, "I can feed myself." But when she tried to reach for the bowl Alex wrapped her up and said, "We want to take care of you please just let us." Scarlet was too tired to fight so she just Glared at them as they took care of her. Oddly enough though it felt good to have someone be there for her, and After the first sip of soup that was so fabulous, she couldn't have stopped the "MMMM" escaped her even if she tried. All the Males were all happy to hear it.
When the soup was done Doctor Sebastian was there with the Medicine and some Water for her to take. He also checked to see if her temperature had come down or not, which it came down some but not enough for him to let her off the hook. She was his patient now and he had to be good at it to make her better, so she could see that he was useful to her.
