It continued like this with just the Two of them for the next couple of weeks. Scarlet was Slowly starting to get used to the ach in her chest. Missing the Male that should not have set up shop in her heart. It was hard to go on with her day sometimes, but with her Pup she was doing better.
She had signs of her Period again and was looking for a good spot to hunker down for a few days. Using her Energy to dive down into the Earth and find a cave that would be a good spot to hideout, she found a familiar Energy nearby and needed to move fast.
"If Fan Boy found me, I don't know how long I would be able to hold out with him. All Three were so good to me and made me feel so safe that I just wanted to stay with them forever. But being around Others means they will turn on you no matter what they say. Others were not safe and couldn't be trusted. A lesson that was hard to learn." Scarlet tried to convince herself.
Using her Energy to transport both to the cave and sealed it up tight. For some reason he always showed up when I was on my period, and it sucks. I also think that he figured out that I was heading to the Sea which also sucks.
As Scarlet was hunkering down for the afternoon Her Pup wanted to go explore. Scarlet felt bad because she had to say 'No'. Fan Boy was too close and since he could pick up Smells from Miles away it would be easy for him to get the Little Fuzzball's Scent. To make up for it though Scarlet told him that she would start to teach him plants. They have been working on things that can and can't be eaten or used for medicine.
Since he is so Young his memory is Good, but for him only being a couple of months old, he was smart enough. Also, he was getting more teeth so he could be on solid foods now. He was eager to try her food, but his little tummy wouldn't be able to handle it. The last couple of days he has tried all sorts of new things though.
Scarlet made a simple meal today which was Grilled Fish with a Seasoned Rub. She also had some Tea Leaf's that had were used to make some Lavender Tea with Honey. The Little Fuzzball was so happy to try new things and she let him pick the seasonings that were used for the Fish. He picked some good Ones but on occasion when he got to some that were not, he got upset. Scarlet could say that he wanted to do good and make her proud. So, she gave him some loving's and told him that he was still young, and he was doing a Great Job at learning.
After they were done eating and they went through all the plants that they had. The Fuzzball wanted to go outside again and again Scarlet felt bad. She couldn't figure out how Alex was still getting closer to them. She made sure that there was no scent leaking out of the cave and before they got here, he was about Seven miles away.
She could feel him closing in on her and it was really starting to make her angry. It had been weeks since they last met, and she went in so many different directions when they departed. They went South for a good portion of the time they had been separated. Even if any of them followed her to the Fox Village Scarlet hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Scarlet got a bad feeling and she opened herself up wider to the area about Ten more Miles and found that she was right. Web Head was there as well, Not too far from Fan Boy. He may have followed him, or worse Followed Kitty. Scarlet couldn't track Kitty until he was right next to her. It was so frustrating how he was the only one that she couldn't track and yet he seemed to always know where she was.
Later that night after Dinner she made a Little Cave for the Little Fuzzball to hide in so that she could place her Cotton Strip. After taking her Pain Killer and Fever Reducer she laid down with the Little Fuzzball acting as her own Personal Heater. After a few hours the Fever hit, and it was bad. The Little Pup was trying his best to take care of his Mommy but there wasn't much he could do. He was still so young and didn't know much about things like this.
