It was another Three weeks of just the Fuzzball and Scarlet moving to the East, towards the Sea. Things were going well until she felt it. The end of time as she knew it for the next Five days. It was here again, and she needed to find a new spot to hide out and fast. It was a good thing that she had enough food and supplies saved up for the Little Fuzzball. Now all she needed was to find a good place to hide and set it up where she didn't need to do much to make his food.
He was good at staying with her since she was all he knew now. Travis didn't make too much of an impression on him. Thank the Elements because that would mean that he would go to him or lead him to her. The Elemental Spirits and her have been on good terms lately since the incident with Kitty and Fan Boy she hasn't done much with them. Making them sad.
Hopefully they leave her alone this time. She doesn't need any more Kitties that she couldn't get rid of.
After finding a cave she set up Little Fuzzballs food to where all that she needed to do was add warm water to it. Making sure she had her Pain Killers and Fever Reducers all set for when she had to take it, yet out of reach of the Little Fuzzball. As they laid down after dinner, she let him know what was going to happen, so he didn't freak out and went to get someone. Not knowing how much he would understand, but he seemed to lesson for the most part when told to stay close and other little things.
Feeling it coming and before the pain could really affect, she took the Pain Killers and Fever Reducer and lay down with the Little Fuzzball. Good thing that he was nice and warm like a little heater and when she put him on her stomach, he was good and stayed.
Later in the night, Not expecting anyone to come in. Low-and-behold somehow Alex showed up and Little Fuzzball didn't wake her up at all.
He came over and touched her damp forehead. Because of the fever she was burning up and sweating all over. He picked her up and curled her up into himself to help bring down her fever. He didn't know much about first aid, but he knew that cold will help, and she couldn't be wet because that would make it worse. Whatever was wrong with her, he had no idea, but she smelled the same when they met in the cave before. She was injured and it was the same injury, he could smell it.
As he went to see what was going on the Little Fuzzball finally stopped him. The Little Pup knew that the spot that was bleeding was not a spot His Mommy wanted anyone to see. He tried to sniff there once, and she got mad, and he learned that was a 'No No Area'. He was not going to let anyone go there.
This made Alex mad, and he tried to move him out of the way because his Female was hurt, and he needed to see how bad since she was burning up. This was when he heard a noise at the mouth of the cave, and he seen the Pup run off to go to the intruder. He looked up and sniffed the air and became even anger. He knew it was Travis the Black Tiger.
The Pup ran up to him trying to tell him that someone was messing with his mommy. When Travis seen him and picked him up and began to walk further into the cave. He could smell the Cobra Alex. When he seen her wrapped up in him, he became angry. He knew what was going on with her and that she would be fine because she told him herself. But since he was there when she was teaching the Doctors things, he knew how to take care of her.
He stepped forward and said "She will be fine just keeping your hands off of her and get lost. She doesn't want you here."
Alex just looked at him and said "She is hot and needs to be cooled down I am cold enough to do this and you are not. She is bleeding and needs help. If you are not going to help you can just go."
Travis was mad and said "She said this happens all the time and when I found her it was happening. She will be fine. I know what to give her for pain and to break the fever. Odds are she already took something."
Looking like he didn't care about his explanation Alex said "She didn't want you around last time we seen her, and she will be mad if she wakes up with you here. So why don't you get lost and leave us alone."
If looks could kill. Alex would be Six feet under and thought of something. "She just doesn't want to be close with anyone and get hurt again. But she trusts me enough to have me sleep in the room with her and be alone with her in places she doesn't like. She will be upset that we are here, but she won't hate me. You can leave now."
They went back and forth like this for the rest of the day and in the end, Scarlet woke up with the worst headache ever. Feeling around it didn't feel like the little bed that she made, and it was cold, but it did help because she still had a fever. Opening her eyes, she seen Fanboy and he looked angry. She turned her head to the side and seen Kitty Feeding Little Fuzzball. They were going back and forth saying that the other should leave and trying to justify why they should stay.
Scarlet looked at them for a while and after her head couldn't handle it anymore, she said "Why don't both of you leave because you are making my head hurt worse than it did before." This got their attention and they both looked at Scarlet at the same time.
The Trader Little Fuzzball was just finishing up his meal and when he seen her, he ran over to her, and he looked like he was concerned. Not being able to find it in herself to be mad at him with that look of his. He was truly concerned about her, and she hadn't had someone do that for her in what felt like forever. He was happy that she was awake and wanted to know how she felt. Even though Scarlet couldn't understand him when he spoke to her, she just knew what he was saying and could see his feelings.
Looking at him and she said "Don't worry baby I'll be fine. I'm sorry about worrying you." Then looked at Alex and said, "PUT ME DOWN NOW!"
He just looked at her and said "Your fever has not broken, and it is not safe for you to be placed down just yet. I have a cold body and can help bring down your fever without you being wet from cold water."
His argument was a good One, but she was not in the mood and had her own stuff that will make her feel better without his help.
Scarlet said "Good argument but I also have things what will help me. So, PUT ME DOWN NOW. If you don't, I will make sure to make you completely useless to a Female."
This got him to put her down fast but gently. He changed and got rid of his tail but stayed close.
Not being able to keep her eyes on him she grabbed a piece of cloth for him. Travis was so Angry that he had the nerve to change right in front of her and thought that he could get away with it. He geared up to say something, but Scarlet beat him to it. Saying "The next time you change make sure to cover up. Don't any of you Males have any cloths?!"
WHAM!!
The cloth hit him in the face hard. All he could think was "Wow My Female has some strength."
He quickly covered himself and said "I'm covered. Now about your fever."
Before he could go any further Scarlet cut him off by saying "I told you I have something you don't need to worry."
Alex argued "Cold water will make you wet and make you sicker. This is not smart, and my skin is always cold I will be a better choice than cold water."
Scarlet and Travis were getting angry. She just looked at Alex for a minute and wobbled over to her medical supplies. Since her stomach was hurting her and she still had a fever with a new headache it took a minute to walk to the supplies and when she made it, she was breathing heavily and had some sweat on her forehead.
