'Being a Male of the Spider Nest Clan the Males will make cloths from their web and gift them to the Female that they want to pursue. Males will take their time and only make them from the softest web that they could produce. Once given and excepted the pair will Mate and be together until death.'
Doctor Sebastian said "She is the Female that I want, and I will do anything to make her so. Even if I need to follow her to the ends of the Earth, I will be with her."
Nest Leader Oliver was shocked when he heard Doctor Sebastian say this. Of course, he never really had an interest in the Females in the Nest even though they perused him. It was always a good thing to have a Doctor as a Mate because if anything happened, you already had the Doctor with you. It was only him in the whole Nest now.
Our other Doctors were killed in battle. So, Doctor Sebastian was not only good in battle but healing as well. He spent his days teaching the Young and tinkering with his inventions. Now that they had this Little Female here and they had common ground Nest Leader Oliver wanted to have Doctor Sebastian keep her here and give the nest a big advantage.
Doctor Sebastian started to go past Nest Leader Oliver and said "I am on my way to see her now. I don't think that she will stay but I will try, and she will have these cloths non the less." Making his way down the tunnel to where Scarlet was staying, he was stopped by a few others on the way. Whether they were Males or Females they wanted information on Scarlet. The Males wanted her attention, and the Females wanted her gone but either way he didn't say much to any of them just short answers like 'She is not staying.' and 'I don't know much about her.'
When he made it closer to the door, he started to smell something mouthwatering and as he pushed on towards Scarlet's room, he started to realize that the smell was coming from there. As he knocked on the door it was answered by Travis, and it didn't surprise him in the least. They were close so it would only be natural that they would be eating together.
Doctor Sebastian said, "I was wondering if I could speak with the Little Female." "Come in I have some questions for you too." Came a small voice from behind Travis, with that he moved to the side and gestured for him to come in.
When Doctor Sebastian came into the room, he seen the food on the fire and Scarlet on the ground nearby feeding her Pup. She said, "You can sit over there." Pointing to the opposite side of the fire. Clearly drawing a line between them. He took his seat and was about to speak when Scarlet said "Would you like some food? It's just done."
Shocked by the question but quickly recovering he said "Yes, it smells wonderful."
Travis handed him a bowl and he made sure to pour a lot of food into the bowl that he had. After giving it to Scarlet, and making one for himself, Doctor Sebastian started to serve himself as well. After he investigated the bowl, he seen all sorts of things floating in the water. After taking a small taste his taste buds came alive and he took a bigger mouth full. Not considering the heat he ended up coughing and choking on the soup.
Travis had an annoyed look on his face and Scarlet started to laugh saying "Careful it is hot. Have some water." After he had a few sips, he was calmed down and she asked, "So what did you come here for?"
Making sure he was fine and composed he cleared his throat and said "I just wanted to give you something as a thank you for helping me out today. This is supposed to be for My Female, but I don't have any that I like and after all that you have done today for my Nest, I want you to have this." He said holding out the animal skin package.
Travis could not hold his anger back and it came out like a deafening rawer that said 'She is mine and you can't have her!'
Scarlet slapped him in the arm and said, "You scared him!!" For a moment they both thought that she was talking about Doctor Sebastian, but they noticed that she was cuddling the Little Fuzzball. After she calmed him down, she said "Think before you act. You are going to make us deaf over here. As for you Web Head thank you but no thank you. I got to see your inventions and got to do treatment. I'm good. I was entertained by this event. After we finish Dinner, you can go, and I will be leaving in the morning."
Doctor Sebastian said "With all due respect Little Female. We are still in your debt so we would like to thank you in some way. This is what I can thank you with." He said holding the animal skin out to her.
Making sure that he kept his volume low Travis said "She said that she doesn't want it and I don't appreciate you pushing it on her. Just Keep it for your Future Female."
Doctor Sebastian said "This is between her and I. You are Not her Male and have no rights to speak for her."
Looking on from the side Scarlet could not believe they were both fighting for her and her rights. "They were about to throw down at any moment which would not be good because my Pup is here, and I was eating. Why can't these guys just get it through their heads." Scarlet thought to herself.
She looked up and said "I don't need either of you to fight for me and I already said that I don't want to take it. Now if I am not able to eat in peace then both of you will be finishing your meals outside." With that she continued to eat, and both the Males just stuck their heads in their bowls and ate quietly. They never stopped Glaring at each other the rest of the time.
After they finished the meal and Doctor Sebastian helped clean up, he said "If you will not take the cloths then I would like to give you will you like One of my inventions?" This sparked her interest but, in the end, she said no. The less of a connection she could have with someone the better.
When there was nothing that could be said to Scarlet to get her to stay Doctor Sebastian tried One last thing. "Would you like a blanket for the night? Our blankets are soft, warm, and cool at the same time I can garneted that you will be more comfortable while sleeping underground." With that he ran out of the room and was back before either Travis or Scarlet could speak. He had a blanket made from Spider Silk, the softest web that a Tarantula can make.
He handed it to Scarlet before she could say no and when she felt the soft material, she couldn't believe the feeling of it. Doctor Sebastian watched her face closely as she touched his Silk Blanket. She couldn't put it down and said with a sigh "Fine. Just tonight and I will not be taking it with me. You can go now I'm going to bed."
Doctor Sebastian had a trumpet smile on his face and walked to the door waiting for Travis but when he seen that he wasn't going to walk out with him he said, "She is going to sleep you get out."
