As Hana and Emily stood still with their attacks aimed at each other, the fighting around them did not disturb them at all.
Noam glanced at Hana worriedly, "Is Hana planning to attack alone?" He jumped back when Herris' blow almost hit him.
Noam knew that Hana was lacking in physical combat. But looking at her stance while holding the bow, it looked like Hana had a chance.
Eric frowned, "Even if we want to help, we can't get close." He said sarcastically.
Herris' expression looked angry that the two were not giving their full attention to their fight. He felt insulted.
Hana released her arrow directly at Emily, who released her lightning attack to destroy the arrow.
Arion looked at her worriedly, 'Be careful!'
Not stopping there, Hana took 2 arrows at once and shot them at Emily one after the other.
Unfortunately, Emily didn't notice and only deflected the first arrow. She belatedly noticed the existence of the second arrow, which caused it to graze her cheek and draw blood.
Arion looked at her in awe. He had originally thought that his older sister would be afraid to hurt anyone, let alone someone she knew. That was why she hadn't joined the fight in the first place. Looks like he was wrong.
Seeing this, Noam suddenly exclaimed happily, "Well done, Hana!"
Eric smiled a little. He always knew that although his sister was lacking in physical combat and swordsmanship, she was good at archery. If she improved, Hana would become the best archer in the whole world. Eric believed that.
Rose snorted, but there was a small smile on her lips, "She can be a great archer if she doesn't hesitate in the beginning."
Zane pushed Hans back with his sword as he chuckled, "Better late than never."
Hans clicked his tongue in annoyance, "What a pesky little brat."
Emily wiped at her bleeding cheek, then snorted amusedly, "Very good. You managed to hurt me."
"Thank you very much." Hana replied without lowering her guard. Her bow was still aimed at Emily.
Emily exhaled for a moment before her gaze sharpened. The lightning magic in her hands grew stronger, ready to be unleashed.
Hana, seeing Emily's seriousness, prepared herself as well. When the lightning magic struck her, she nimbly dodged and retaliated with her arrows.
She never stopped moving to thwart Emily's aim. But her own shots always landed directly on Emily, even though they were all destroyed.
Arion began to growl in frustration, 'I can't just stand still.'
He looked doubtfully at the lightning ball that trapped him. Arion thought that maybe if he interfered with the magic ball from the inside, he could break Emily's concentration.
He carelessly touched the wall of the orb and immediately regretted it. Arion quickly withdrew his hand as he felt a stabbing pain throughout his body.
Arion winced in pain. He held his hand that had been hit the hardest, feeling it stiff and immobilized.
Although the sound of his scream was very soft, Hana could faintly hear it. She turned her head in shock and saw Arion being electrocuted inside the magic ball.
"Arion!" Hana shouted worriedly as her brothe's face contorted in pain. But she was caught off guard by the incoming attack.
"Ah!" Hana winced in pain as Emily's lightning attack grazed her arm until she lost her balance and accidentally released the arrow from Emily.
Arion looked at her in panic, instantly forgetting about her numb hand, 'She's hurt!'
"Hana!" Eric called to his sister in alarm, especially after seeing the wound on her arm.
Just as he was about to run over to Hana, a hard punch in front of him sent a gust of wind that nearly blew him away.
In front of him, Herris growled angrily, both hands clenched so tightly that the muscles in his hands were visibly hardened, "How dare you underestimate me!"
Eric clicked his tongue in annoyance at being blocked for the umpteenth time. At a signal from Noam, the two immediately advanced to attack Herris with all their might.
Hana held her injured arm with a look of pain on her face, "I have to find a way to destroy this lightning ball."
She couldn't bear to see Arion in pain. She had to get her brother out as soon as possible. But Hana didn't know how to do that.
For a moment, Emily froze at the sight of the wound on Hana's arm before returning her sharp gaze to Hana, "Give up."
Hana remained silent and did not answer. She was still thinking about how to destroy the magic ball.
But Hana didn't have the magic yet and her arrow wouldn't be strong enough to destroy something made of magic. Just by looking at it, she knew that her arrow would only be destroyed if it collided with the lightning ball.
As she was about to groan in frustration, her eyes saw something, "What is that?"
Hana saw 4 thin and weak threads connecting the four lightning balls to Emily's left hand, which had not been used to attack her in the first place.
Then she remembered her father's words.
"Remember Eric, Hana. Even though your magic hasn't risen yet, it doesn't mean you can't feel magic, especially lightning magic." Arsen said to his twins.
Natalie was resting because her pregnancy had reached 7 months. She got tired easily. Her growing belly also prevented her from doing many activities.
Arsen, who had some free time, invited the twins to relax together. For some reason, he suddenly mentioned their unawakened lightning magic.
Hana, who was sitting on Arsen's lap, looked up at her father in confusion, "Why?"
Arsen smiled slightly before he gently patted Hana's head, "The Gewitter Kingdom is known for its lightning magic, not only because most people from our kingdom have lightning magic. But because of our blood."
Eric stopped drinking his juice and turned to his father, "Our blood?"
Arsen nodded, "That's a secret. Our blood is special, especially the blood of the members of the Gewitter Royal Family. Even though it doesn't awaken lightning magic--"
He formed a small black lightning ball and floated it in front of his children. As they stared at the ball of lightning in awe, Arsen pointed to what looked like a very thin and transparent thread that connected the ball of lightning to the lightning spark in his hand.
"--But we can see the flow of lightning, no matter how small or thin it is."
"Flow!" Hana muttered in shock. She had almost forgotten her father's teachings.
Hana gritted her teeth against the pain as she aimed 4 arrows at Emily again. Although her hands were shaking slightly, she was still able to concentrate on aiming correctly.
"There!"
She released all four arrows at once. Emily managed to dodge one. Another was deliberately aimed at her feet, causing her to lose her balance. Another managed to land on Emily's shoulder until she fell to her knees in pain.
But the last arrow was not aimed at Emily. Rather, it was aimed at the thin thread that Hana managed to see. The moment the arrow hit it, the ball of lightning that trapped Arion slowly faded away.
Arion stared at the orb that trapped him in shock, 'She destroyed it?'
Not only Arion, the others were also shocked until they unconsciously stopped the fight.
Hans widened his eyes in shock, not expecting such a thing. Herris snorted lightly, already expecting Emily to be too weak to even fight children.
Hana immediately ran past the kneeling Emily and quickly grabbed Arion's body, which was about to fall.
"Arion!"
With a sigh of relief, Hana managed to catch her sister in time. She hugged Arion tightly as if to calm her down.
"It's okay. Arion is safe. Sister will take care of you." She said quietly as a relieved smile appeared on her lips. Her eyes glazed over with joy that he had managed to hug Arion safely.
Arion held on to his brother's clothes, 'You're hurt.' He thought sadly. He tried to reach for his injured arm, which fortunately didn't bear his weight.
Hana, noticing his actions, smiled immediately, "This wound is nothing. You're strong."
Emily looked down, her hand gripping her shoulder where the arrow still lodged. Without anyone noticing, Emily smiled a little and whispered softly, "You are indeed strong, Your Highness."
Hana turned her head when she heard Emily's whisper not far from her. Before she could say anything, a scream made her gasp in surprise.
"Look out, Hana!" Zaneshouted, who couldn't make it in time.
Earlier, Hans had taken advantage of their carelessness to get away from Zane and Rose. Now he was in front of Hana with his sword ready to cut her down. Hana immediately wrapped her body around her sister and closed her eyes tightly.
But the sound of the explosion and the hiss of the lightning made Hana turn around quickly. There stood Eric, protecting her after successfully knocking Hans away.
"Who says you can touch my younger siblings?" Eric said with a sharp voice. His two golden eyes were hidden behind his fringe until they shone sharply.
Hana's eyes widened in surprise, "Brother?"
Rose stopped running when she realized it too, "That's..."
Noam laughed out loud, "That's amazing!"
Zane muttered in amazement, "Eric..."
Noam grinned sharply at the sight of something enveloping his rival's body, "He managed to resurrect it!"
Eric's body was enveloped in several sparks of lightning. Unlike Emily and Nova, the color of the lightning was blue. Blue like the sea and the sky.
"His lightning magic has awakened!"
