After that I had even better look on her. She was rather cute woman, looking to be in her late twenties. She had light blue eyes and her hair was white, fur on her tail and ears was also snow white.
I looked at her leg and noticed that it is swelling and getting red. There was a nasty hole in the ground near her foot so I guessed that her foot must have fallen into the hole while she was running.
About this time girls and Sheela arrived. As they were getting closer, I noticed that the wolf girl reacted to them and started growling. I quickly stepped to them.
"Karla please give me acetate ointment and bandages."
"Sure." Karla nodded and gave what I asked for from her ring.
I also asked them to stay in a distance for now since the wolf girl looked to be nervous when they were getting closer.
Once this was done, I pulled out the ring that I got from orc chieftain. It should let me communicate with the girl. I slowly approached her. She seemed to be more at ease with me then with the girls but still rather apprehensive about my motives.
I raised my hand showing her I mean no danger and slowly spoke to her.
"Hello, I am Victor do you understand me?"
Wolf girl just looked at me without reaction. I decided to make her wear the ring first. I approached and when I was about meter away from her, I stopped. I showed with my hands that I would like her to wear the ring. After about a minute wolf girl nodded and grabbed the ring. Once she wore it, I spoke to her.
"Hello, I am Victor. You should be able to understand now and you should also able to speak back."
She looked very surprised and she spoke. "H-Hello. Y-Yes I can speak."
I smiled. "Can I treat your leg? It seems you are not really used to your new body and your leg slipped into that hole as you were running." I pointed to her swollen ankle and then to the hole nearby.
She looked at me and after a second of deliberation she nodded.
"OK, I will first check if you leg is not broken with my hands, it may be uncomfortable but please bear with it."
She nodded. And I proceeded to touch her leg slowly and check if it broken. Luckily it does not seem like the bone broke. I smiled and spoke.
"It is not broken; I will apply an ointment and bandage on it for you. It should help."
She again nodded and I smiled and went to work. After few minutes her leg was bandaged.
"OK this should help; may I ask you what is your name?"
"I don't have one. Thank you for saving me. And thank you for helping with leg. Who those women?" She pointed to Karla, Brook and Jessica.
"Two of them are my partners, one is my friend and the tiger is my companion."
She nodded. "They can come if they are with you."
I smiled and waved at the girls to come.
As Karla came closer, she spoke teasingly. "Saving a naked woman. Is the two of us not enough for you?"
Wolf girl looked at herself and discovered that she is indeed naked. Then she looked at us and saw that we all had clothing.
"Should I also wear clothes?" She asked.
"Yes, you definitely should. Here you go have this." Karla spoke and pulled some clothes from her ring.
"I am Karla." Karla added as she was giving the clothes to the wolf girl.
"Thank you. Hello." Wolf girl spoke and then she turned to me. "Can you help wear these?"
"Sure." I nodded. She visibly still had much bigger trust for me then the girls.
As I was slowly helping her to wear some clothes her stomach growled loudly.
Karla chuckled. "We will do some lunch; do you want to join us?" She asked the wolf girl.
Wolf girl nodded and Karla went to make some food with Brook and Jessica. She grabbed the wolf bodies that were not shattered since they were edible. After about half of an hour we and the wolf girl were eating.
"Can I stay with you? I have nobody, my pack turned on me when I changed. I was matriarch of my pack but everybody changed to bigger ones but I changed like this. They turned on me."
"Sure, but you will need a name when you are going to be traveling with us." I spoke.
She nodded. "Please give me one."
"Hmmm" I thought for a moment and then I looked at her hair and fur. I smiled and spoke. "Yuki? Do you like the name Yuki?"
Karla chuckled. "Man of culture. Snow in Japanese, looks like perfect fit for her with her snow-white hair and fur."
All the girls smiled and nodded and Yuki spoke. "Yuki sounds nice."
After that we chatted for a while. She slowly started to warm up to girls which were interested in her since she was a first beastkin they ever saw and she was very cute one at that. At the end we all boarded the car, while I ended up driving and all the girls at the back started to teach Yuki basics of human behavior and human common sense. They looked like they are enjoying themselves.
Karla turned to me. "Once we leave the park, please try to look for a clothing store, we should pick up something for Yuki there."
I nodded. "Sure, no problem. I wanted to look for some store anyway."
As this we continued on our journey from southern LA to the northern LA where Karla's sister lived. I was looking for two specific types of stores. First one was clothing store second being some gun store that was not yet looted, I wanted to try wielding a pistol in my second hand.
As this we traveled slowly, when I ran across some ghouls, I stopped the car and went to exterminate them with Sheela and once done we continued.
We found clothing store in no time where girls grabbed bunch of clothing for Yuki. They were having a lot of fun picking out the clothing that would accommodate or hide her unique beastkin features.
