The cloud was dark. If people didn't know exactly what time it was, they will think it was already night by how the cloud had darkened. Kira sat in class looking out of the window, staring at the dark clouds.

This made her remembered those nights before meeting the wolves on the desert, it used to be she alone in the forest to fend for herself at all times and eve when it rained and the weather becomes very cold and chilly, because of that she had come to hate the rain so much.

Nobody noticed the changes in her mood, the air around her became gloomy. She continued to pay attention in class but there was a suppressed emotion in her eyes.

Anytime it rained, she always remembered her dark past. It always made her dislike for the hunters to increase. She would be lost in thoughts such as 'if they had never come, everything would have been alright and I would've had a place. But they ruined it all! They took everything away from me, leaving me all alone to strive to survive.' her emotions would be gloomy and depressed then vicious and murderous.

After the teacher left the class, Kira noticed someone's presence around her, she couldn't help but furrow her brows.

Kira hated this particular scent. It was a scent of different flowers, which was very harsh to the nose.

Layla stood like a proud peacock in front of Kira. As her father being a well known hunter and she being the best female hunter there is in this area. She always felt she was mightier than others.

Kira particularly hated this character of Layla. She hated people who used their parent's fame to belittle others, even if they were good themselves. Layla happened to be one of those who mostly depended on their parent's fame.

Kira pretended not to notice Layla's presence. She continued to look at the sky which was brightening up little by little.

Layla felt embarrassed as she had been standing there for half a minute but Kira seemed to have never noticed her . No one had ever ignored her like this. She had a very strong presence which made everyone fawn on her, boys and girls alike.

She gave a sign to one of her minions. The person came forward and slammed hard on Kira's table.

Kira angrily bit back the growl which was threatening to escape her lips. She hated annoying people the most, people who just wouldn't understand that she doesn't want to talk to them.

She slowly turned her head towards Layla's direction.

Layla gave her those looks which spoilt brats have. She looked at Kira like she was looking at a piece of trash, something disgusting which had her wanting to throw up. Her eyes had this light like she was a god looking down on specks of dust which crossed her sights.

Kira looked at her with so much disgust in her eyes. Kira had this strong hostility towards her and her being a hunter made it even worst. When she comes to face hunters her stomach churns with discomfort.

"Why is Ryan always close to you, what kind of tricks did you use on him to make him pay so much attention to you, I can't tell what he sees in you, there's nothing great about you that should attract his attention!" She said looking at Kira with so much hostility in her eyes, as if Kira had stolen her favorite Christmas toy.

Kira sized her up, no matter how many times she had come into contact with real people it seemed she still had a lot to learn about people, people were just hard to understand and figure out. Always arguing and fighting about useless things. "What does it matter to you whether I'm close to him or not, and why would I even wanna be close to him in the first place? Coming over to me to ask such things is an irritation to my hearing, whatsoever your kinds do are of no concern to me, I wish you all will just stay away from me." she snapped and sneered coldly.

'Kind?' Layla was alerted, taking a look at Kira for the second time she brought her heart to rest, 'she doesn't know' she thought affirmatively. "Even if I used tricks on him to make him attracted to me, it's because I have the skills...." Kira taunted with a joyful mysterious smile "since you don't have the skills to attract him with, why not run along to daddy to help you attract his attention, that's what you're good at, princess." Unknown to them Ryan was at the door, his attention on them and watching them with interest and he had this sinister smirk on his serious lips.

Kira frowned and looked at the door. She saw Ryan with a smirk on his lips. He winked at her and walked away without saying anything.

Kira looked all confused and turned back to Layla. Layla's face was all red, Kira could almost be sure of seeing steam coming out of her ears.

Kira smiled and left the class and was not interested to watch human male and female attract each other to mate, she left the angry Layla and her friends.

Immediately Kira left the class, Layla screamed and Kira had to cover her ears up, with such sensitive and hightened hearing, her eardrums were sure to burst with a few more of such screams!

Kira walked straight to the cafeteria. She actually hated eating in the cafeteria, there were lots of scents here clouding her sense of smell, she hated it. As a hunter and predator all senses should be working at all times.

She picked her food and walked to the extreme end in the cafeteria that was empty.

She sat down, lowered her head and started eating. She smelled that familiar scent again and looked up and saw Ryan whom she didn't know when he approached her sitting in front of her and giving her a smile she believes was pretentious. Kira looked at him with confusing eyes and cursed underneath 'Damn it!'

"What are you doing here all alone, all by yourself?" Kira asked and threw her cutlery with a clang into the tray.

"Eating of course, what else?" Ryan answered with a tease which sounded more annoying than those sounds the hyenas made which drives her crazy when she goes to hunt for food.

"Why here, there are other empty tables to sit" She still asked with a look that says 'you're an eyesore, don't appear in front of me!'

"Really?" He asked sounding surprised. Kira looked at him with a meaningful look before picking up her cutlery once more and immensed in eating.

She looked so calm and uncared on the outside but only herself knew how many times she had stabbed him with a fork and gloated at him as she watched him bleed, because she noticed the thousand eye daggers that where directed towards her.

She just wanted a peaceful life in school but now she's in the spotlight because of a hunter who's kind she despises a lot

Kira finished her food and stood up to leave , Ryan noticed it and also stood up.

Kira looked at him intensively using her eyes to tell him to stay away but Ryan behaved as if he hadn't noticed anything.

She placed her lunch tray on the counter and left. As she was walking, Ryan was annoyingly following behind her, God knows how many times she wanted to turn back and thrash him up until he was unrecognizable, but fortunately she managed to remain calm. She couldn't let herself go out of control in the midst of hunters, although she had confidence in her strength but she wasn't completely sure she could go against them. Once a fight breaks out they were sure to call in for reinforcement and things would get really ugly, it was best to not go against them head on.

When she turned at a corner, she stopped and faced him.

"What's your deal?"

"Nothing"

"Why are you stalking me?"

"Me? We are just heading to the same direction that's all" He replied and Kira scoffed.

Kira turned and continued walking. When she got to the combat class she walked inside.

Actually the next class she was going to be taking was the combat class, one of her favorite subject in the school, she was never late for this class and would always come in early before the others.

She found a hidden spot and sat down. She never liked coming in and having to sit with others so where she sat was relatively hidden. She turned to her side and she saw Ryan at a close distance.

He turned to her and smiled. Kira immediately looked away.

After some hours, other students came in. The place became so rowdy and noisy. Kira had a displeased look. The teacher came in after some time and ordered the students to be quiet.

The place became calm and he ordered the girls to move to the right and the boys to the left.

Kira was already sitting on the right side

So didn't have to move. The teacher emphasized that they will be practicing with their genders.

Immediately the teacher said that Kira's eyes dulled out with no interest. She lowered her head.

She saw someone's shadow engulfed hers. She raised her head and she saw Layla standing in front of her.

"Why don't we practice a little?" Layla sent out an invitation with a grin.

"I'm not interested"
