Chapter 38 - New Ottawa-Present

As the PBY sets down in the Illinois River, the Trauma-Club made their away to Washington Park. The super bunker had been sealed for quite sometime and radio silence had made it impossible to know what was going on.

As the Ghost entered his pin-code, the monument rose and revealed the passage way down into the bunker. As they descended into the darkened bunker, the Ghost was on a mission. His mind raced with plans and thoughts about the future.

As he reached the final set of doors, the seal had rusted the door shut. The Ghost took a deep breath and kicked it down, startling everyone inside. As they look at the downed door, the Ghost stepped inside.

"ATTENTION NEW OTTAWA! WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS! LEAVE THE FUCKING BUNKER!"

The crowd cheered and began to pack up their gear and make their return to the surface. Juno outfitted everyone with special lenses to prevent the horrors from hurting them. As the New Ottawans began to rise from their bunker, the Ghost stood atop the Lincoln-Douglas monument.

"Listen up! Rothschild survived our Antarctica Attack, we now must fight him like we trained for, just like every single plan we've made. Either we go down, or they do."

"Glad to have you back." said Reverend Everett as he gripped the Ghost's shoulder.

"Likewise. Busch Hunter, I need you manning the radio, get the word across every band that New Ottawa is back in business. Overlord, have your people begin building walls around Ottawa. I want all of our shit up and running in the next few days. Logan, get every plane we have ready to fly. Juno, have the OCPA went over and ready for redeployment. For now I will be using the BPA-100."

As the New Ottawans got to work, the Ghost stepped into the BPA-100 and took to the sky. He surveyed the outskirts of the friendly city and destroyed any and all inhuman creature nearby. As he made his way around Ottawa, he smiled to himself as he gutted a cryptid. The Ghost used the fire cyclone to torch the enemies before him and as he made his way back into the city, he settled his resolve and to his place amongst his people, ready to rebuild the world, once again.
