"It's getting worse!" Kai said, tears staining his cheeks as he clutched his stomach tightly as if it would help with the wrenching pain he felt.
Aiden felt lost as he stared at Kais trembling form. From the scales that had returned to his skin, he was sure that this wasn't something he could handle. Heck! He didn't even know what was going on with him, so how would he even help?
"Let's get you to the bed." He said with urgency. In one swift movement, he lifted Kai in his arms and strode to the bed, gently laying him on the matrass.
Kai turned to his side in a fetal position, desperately trying to find a position that would lessen the pain.
Aiden raked his fingers through his messy black hair, his heart racing as he thought of what to do... this was something that merpeople would know how to deal with... so who could he call for help?
