"Mmh..." Kai stirred feeling the heavy weight pressing on top of him. He slowly fluttered his eyes open and took in the ambiance of the unfamiliar room. Oh right... he was on a dinner date with Aiden.
He glanced at the space beside him and saw the young master lying next to him, hugging him tightly with his head resting on his chest, which explained the extra weight on him. A small smile graced his face and he reached out to caress the young masters tousled hair but froze midway when he saw the grey scales on his hand. He pulled up the Lacey sleeves of the dress and saw that it had spread all over his arm... he panicked.
Even in his sleep, Aiden paid attention to the rhythmic interval of Kai's heartbeat. When it suddenly accelerated, he jolted from his sleep and sat up,
"Kai? Are you hurting anywhere?" He blurted and pushed off the blanket covering Kai to properly analyse his body.
