Chapter 56 - Taking Time Out of Your Busy Schedule

As the opening approaches, the campus gets more and more lively.

The training schedule is getting more and more urgent, everyone shouts a neat and unified slogan and sweeps the sweat of youth to the fullest.

Woken up from his nap, Eleazar rubbed his eyes.

"What a great effort by everyone."

In the lazy afternoon hours, the sunlight casts down through the gaps in the lush foliage, and a refreshing breeze rustles the surrounding plants and trees.

Eleazar picks the leaves off his head, then lies back in a wide berth again.

The lawn was already very warm from the sun, just perfect for napping.

At that moment, a figure appeared above.

"Eleazar, you sure are slacking off again!"

The male who had been looking for him for half a day was seething with anger.

As a competition staff, everyone is training hard, only he is missing all day, either sleeping in the dormitory or hiding everywhere to be lazy, everyone is about to be angry with him.

"Do you realize that the race starts tomorrow and you haven't even had a decent practice?"

"Oh, finally?"

Eleazar sits up lazily and stretches.

The boy's eyes widened at once, "What do you mean it's finally time to start, don't you have any sense of urgency? Everyone has been training so hard, don't you have any guilt in your heart?"

Eleazar glanced at him faintly.

"What do you know, physical training, is the need for long-term persistence to see the effect, like rush and high-intensity rush training, will only increase muscle strain in vain, I'm retaining the fire for everyone."

The boy was speechless, wanting to say something, opened and closed his mouth a few times but did not know how to retort, and finally could only leave by dropping a harsh sentence of hatred.

"Anyway, when the time comes to drag your feet, I'll see how you'll explain it to everyone!"

Seeing that his hiding spot had been discovered again, Eleazar had to switch to a different spot to get some slack.

Anyway, he just made up his mind not to think about Khan.

In the infirmary, the doctor who was leaning out the window watching the girls run turned around.

"What are you doing here in my place?"

"Got tired of being preached at by those people and came to you to hide."

"Well, can't you listen to what people say, at least pretend?"

"That's easy for you to say, did you know it's more tiring to pretend."

Eleazar cocked his head, "If we switched identities, would you go?"

Dr. Robert turned away from him.

Looking around the quiet infirmary, Eleazar asked again, "Where's that pretty little nurse?"

"You mean Eve, she's gone off to make purchases, medical bandages have been consuming too much lately."

With that, Robert turned around again.

"You're interested in someone else? I seem to remember you have a girlfriend."

"Nah, I was just casually asking to make sure the party wasn't chatty."

Eleazar, of course, wouldn't tell him what Eve was doing here.

Robert was silent for a moment, "That last spell prop of yours was pretty impressive."

"Well, indeed, I'm drained."

The doctor started an awkward conversation and then they ran out of steam.

Eleazar moved off the subject and asked, "By the way, do you know if there are any transcendental gatherings in town?"

Robert turned around, his face incredibly solemn.

"There isn't! And even if there were any left, I wouldn't advise you to touch it."

"Why?"

Robert looked at him with an odd expression on his face at once.

"You don't know? Your mentor didn't tell you about this?"

Eleazar returned honestly, "I don't know."

Robert narrowed his eyes, "I don't know if you're naive or just stupid, have you ever heard of the Dark Forest Laws?"

"Always suspecting each other, in our world, being too strong or too weak is the original sin, the strong are coveted, the weak have no corpse, and once the identity is leaked, huh..."

Robert gazed despondently into the distance, remembering the old days of freedom.

"I was in desperate need of an herb, and believed a friend's suggestion to attend a so-called hidden gathering, and as a result... Oh, it was a skillful fraud gang, a dozen people acting to trick me, and found my real address that night, in the end, to save my life, I could only go to the church and turn myself in."

Eleazar: "..."

Although I had a feeling about it, I didn't expect it to be so hooked up out there already, even the Dark Forest Laws had been moved out.

The low-level Transcendence sequence consists of so many copies of the magic potion, and some people manage to finish digesting it by fluke, but the path of Transcendence comes to an end.

What then, no more magic potion, what energy to feed the transcendental activity in the body?

In order not to mutate out of control, they have to consume transcendental material.

This resource was everywhere in the Dark Ages, and now...

You can only loot, and whoever loots more is the winner.

He'd opened with a lab of his own, with no shortage of resources of all kinds, or else he would have been just as dumb as the doctor by now, hearing nothing but news.

Eleazar could only reassure him in this way, "The church is not bad, after all, it is an order-keeping goodness formation, although there is no more freedom, but you are safe now ah, and you don't have to worry about transcendental material."

Robert gave him a vicious glare.

"Not only did I lose my freedom, but my dreams as well, and if the inheritance hadn't been taken away by the Church and there was no longer a need to fight for it, I would have loved to find a chance to poison you to death, and then take all your stuff!"

Hmm... Seeing as how the doctor used to be compelled by survival, he seems to have gone the way of the Evil Formation. Close to the ink, he recognized people in this area, so that he's not to blame for being betrayed by his friends, because he brought it on himself.

But so quick to get an evil posse to clean up their act and become so docile and orderly, Eleazar couldn't help but praise the greatness of the Church.

"We agreed to dispense me a copy of the magic potion, if you dare to lie to me, then we'll all die together!"

"I remember, I remember."

Eleazar waved his hand.

That's the deal between them, he dispenses a magic potion for the doctor, and the doctor keeps the secret of the Transcendentals for him.

This poor guy didn't even have the ultimate magic potion formula for his sequence, what a miserable mix.

As for whether or not the doctor will get the last copy of the magic potion and then turn around and sell him to the church...

Eleazar smiles faintly inwardly.

He swore the doctor would never want to see that.

The Witcher just got cold feet with the Church, and never said anything about running away.

"Duk-duk~"

At that moment, a knock came from outside.

Eleazar obediently found a hospital bed and lay down.

The doctor rose lazily and pretended to be busy for a moment before going to open the door.

Sure enough, it was the history students who came to arrest Eleazar for training again, and I don't know how many people I asked before I found this place.

They found a sweaty head, and when they saw Eleazar lying leisurely on the bed with an innocent face, they turned their noses up in anger.

"You're slacking off here again!"
