Chapter 62 - The Stars Watch Over You

"Help... Help!"

A brutal revenge is gradually coming to a close at the Stardust Ocean Trading Warehouse.

The victims were all the employees here, all of whom died horrible deaths.

The murderer, however, is a terrifying demonic spirit with a transparent form that ignores physics and can walk through walls at will!

The office was down to the last two survivors, who stood with their backs to each other, white-faced, defending themselves against the ghostly spirits that had entered from nowhere.

"Why... Why is it there!"

"How would I know! It must be you guys... Watch out!"

There was a sudden flickering of lights overhead; it was the weird force field that was causing a disturbance in the nearby circuits.

"Go to hell!"

The cold sweaty man's eyes glazed over as he spilled the purple powder in his hand and subsequently ignited it with his spirituality.

"Boom!"

An eerie green fire quickly flared up, enveloping the incoming demonic spirit.

It was instantly hit hard, its invincible form ignited by magical flames that slowly disintegrated its body like maggots.

After all, it was a demonic spirit that had been forcefully spawned, and being able to achieve this level was already the limit.

Fina pushed open the office door and walked in quietly.

The two men who were celebrating their escape from death froze, then their faces changed dramatically.

"It's you!"

"Yeah, it's me."

Fina, who was supposed to be bedridden, gently shook the droplets from her umbrella, then saw the demonic spirit that had surfaced beside her seemingly in agony, and stopped by to help pat out the flames.

Seeing this incredible scene, the two men became even more desperate.

"You... I can't believe you're also..."

"Shh!"

Fina held up a finger in front of her lips, signaling them to keep their mouths shut so they wouldn't be overheard.

Seeing that there seemed to be a possibility of negotiation, the two men hurriedly and sweatily explained.

"Miss, that was just a misunderstanding!"

"Oh, so it was a misunderstanding?"

"But it doesn't seem to think so."

As Fina smiled faintly, the demonic spirit beside her slowly appeared as a solid entity.

"Driver!"

The two men were horrified, as if they had seen something incredible.

"You actually turned him into a demon spirit!"

"You... What the hell are you!"

"I saw that he died with great reluctance and took his soul in passing."

Fina's face was calm, as if doing such a thing was as easy as going downstairs to take out the trash.

"You guys are really cruel then, after using someone, you infected his family with the corpse plague."

The man's face twitched and he suddenly yelled:

"Driver, kill her! We have the antidote here to your family's plague."

However, the demonic spirit continued to look at the two in death, unperturbed.

"It's been five days, do you know what's become of that place?"

With that said, Fina glanced compassionately at the demonic spirit beside her.

"Ghoul nests, you're so cruel to let people's wives and children chew on each other."

As those words were uttered, a blue ghostly fire puffed up.

Looking at the demonic spirits around her who could barely hold back, Fina gently raised her hand.

"Tell me why you instructed the driver to run us over."

Two living souls were extracted on the spot, their lifeless bodies planted directly backward, and the demon spirits quickly pounced on them, frantically dismembering them.

Half-lidded eyes skimming the message, Fina sighed softly.

"So that's it..."

The fingers then pressed slightly, and the two translucent spirit bodies began to twist crazily.

"The stars are watching this, you... Can't escape!"

"Lord Astrologer... Ah! Will definitely avenge us!"

With incomparably miserable wails, the two inferior spirit bodies were made into soul fragments alive.

Collecting the two small purple crystals, she took one last look at the demonic spirit.

"You can disappear too."

The demonic spirit covered its face in a very humanized manner, as if in grief, and it annihilated its form with an incomparably painful whimper, extremely unwilling.

Being exploited by one's peers and having the situation even affect one's family is unacceptable to anyone.

It simply cannot rest!

Fina, who would not extradite the dead, slowly left with her umbrella as soon as she set the place on fire.

It was a stronghold of a transcendental organization, the name seemed to be Stardust, the leader seemed to be from the High Tower Sequence, and the two stupid henchmen even called out people's ranks.

Astrologers, transcendentalists who wield the power of the stars...

And it was the tragic death of the female Wraith Envoy that drew the eye of this power, as the astrologer traced Eleazar from the moon.

As those two cried out before they died, the stars will watch over everything...

At that thought, Fina lifted her umbrella and glanced at the cloudy sky.

"So did you see me?"

A few drops of rain splashed down onto her face, and she instantly frowned slightly.

"How long is that witch going to cry?"

[Midday news report: a trade warehouse fire in the north of the city, 23 employees all buried in flames, the accident is suspected to be caused by leakage of water circuit fire, the power supply bureau to remind residents, rainstorms, please pay attention to the safety of electricity.]

...

...

Eleazar drifted off to sleep on the tour bus.

He was going to take the opportunity to meditate and cultivate, but he was so dead that he realized that the acolyte was sitting right behind him, so how dare he make a move.

It's true that the Holy Light Sequencer is bad at pursuing hidden secrets, but that doesn't mean he can ride over people and shit on them either.

Looking at the ruthless face that looked like a glacier from his reflection, he did not doubt for a second that once his differences were discovered, people would not hesitate to strike out and kill him.

Well, this is a position where people can reach out and penetrate through the back of the chair.

"Boring..."

Eleazar leaned back a bit with a dark sigh.

At that moment, a shoulder sank and a head hitched up.

Without turning his head to look, he could tell from the steady breathing that it was the sleepy Lingyin's body that was askew.

This guy is only cute when he keeps his mouth shut.

Eleazar reached out and patiently righted her.

At that moment, the car took a sharp lurch and she suddenly woke up.

Those sleepy eyes instantly widened as Lingyin clutched her chest with a face full of panic.

"Are you finally going to take a shot at your girlfriend's best friend?"

"Ouch!"

Eleazar rewarded her with a facepalm.

"How dare you hit me!"

Just as they were scuffling, the car came to a complete stop.

The driver started the engine for a moment and finally actually opened the door and walked down.

"What happened?"

"Why did the car stop?"

The students got up and probed and looked around.

The bus stopped on a desolate mountain road with no village in front of it, and the vehicle in front of them actually didn't realize they had fallen out of line, and soon staggered around the bend and disappeared.

The last car in the group was just abandoned on the road, looking a million times more helpless.

"All be quiet and sit down!"

The teacher rose quickly and rebuked the restless students.

"That, Sensei, I'd like to go out for a while."

The two female classmates squirmed to their feet...
