All of the colors around them faded, and all of the students coming and going nearby stopped dead in their tracks, keeping their expressions frozen.
The world, was as if a pause had been pressed.
[Forbidden Spell - Secondary Time Stasis]
Fina maneuvered the Unseen Hand and lifted the unknowing woman in front of her.
"Don't mess with me... Witch, and don't use Prophecy around me."
In that dark fog of death, Evelea, with blood spilling from the corners of her mouth, returned with difficulty:
"Ahem... Well... Warlock-sama..."
Fina's eyes narrowed and her palms suddenly exerted force.
"Ka-ching!"
Looking at the slightly twitching body on the ground, Fina said faintly:
"This is the first and last warning."
"Next time you do it, your soul will be extracted."
When she finished, she picked up her suitcase and turned to leave.
The colors around them returned, and the large human-shaped hole pressed out of the wall was quickly repaired by the intervention of the mysterious power.
Everything went back to normal, except for the body with its head folded back.
The two girls who had stepped onto the stairs were stunned, their eyes slowly revealing horror.
"That's brutal."
The corpse suddenly made a remorseful sound, and sat up, grasping the severed head with both hands and putting it back together with extreme horror.
Evelea turned her somewhat raw head, then smiled at the two men:
"Hello, good afternoon."
The two girls' eyes rolled up at once, and their trembling bodies looked ready to plant themselves.
Evelea snapped her fingers softly.
"Sleep!"
Under the power of the two men, their heads sagged on the spot, their eyes lost their concentration, and their bodies were sluggish like puppets.
"You guys didn't see anything just now, you'll come back to your senses later when you hit the doorframe, let's go."
"We didn't see anything..."
The two girls muttered to themselves dully and lifted their sluggish feet to leave slowly.
...
In the dormitory building, which was painted very white, Eleazar quickly found his assigned room.
Room 404 ...
Pushing open the door to the room, where the paint seemed to have only just dried, he found it empty, the beds laid out on either side of him empty.
Was he even the first to arrive, or was he the only one in this room?
It's unlikely that no one is later than yourself, and the chances of living alone are high.
Eleazar blushed with some delight.
As a Transcendent, he was in great need of a secluded space.
While it was equally possible to meditate in the dead of night, for him to fiddle with the material... That's a little scary.
At that moment, a buddy from next door walked by, saw the scene, and became incredibly envious.
"Wow, we fought over there for a bunk, and you're actually in a private room here, what a blessing."
The kind of person who flaunts around when he gets a little advantage and hates for the whole world to know about it - is a fool.
Eleazar quickly half-bolts the door and shushes:
"Keep my secret, will you, and I'll buy you dinner later."
The dude froze, but very smartly replied, "No, I won't go around talking about it, not that kind of guy."
Eleazar smiled slightly, "Well then say yes, my name is Eleazar and I'm in the history department."
"Monk, Foreign Languages, uh..." At Eleazar's burning gaze, he scratched his head and added, "Lives in 407."
"407? Okay, I'll see you at dinner later then."
Saying goodbye to his newfound friend, Eleazar closes the door and begins to organize the space that is his alone.
Beds, quilts, towels, and various toiletries, are all organized.
Then he opened the suitcase again and took out a few changes of clothes and hung them neatly in the closet.
And then the rest of the box is full of stuff that can't see the light of day.
The ebony crucible was picked up, and the shocking pile of things underneath was instantly exposed.
Slightly glowing gems, sun-dried herbs, a few vials of alchemical powder, the flesh and blood of dark creatures sealed in a silver box, and last night's harvest, still bloodstained notes...
Yes, he had brought all the ingredients for the second magic potion with him, ready to be decocted and taken at any time.
"One can't possibly digest two potions in one semester, can one?"
That's what he thought before he set out, but after experiencing last night's promotion, he suddenly felt that it was still a possibility...
That one man and one beast, directly let him digest more than half of the magic potion residue, at that time, let the other party successfully call for support, and also decapitated to win, maybe on the spot can boil the second magic potion to take.
Unfortunately, there were no ifs, and even if he could do it all over again, he wasn't sure he could win again.
Although there were some regrets, it was good that he had already comprehended the conditions for promotion.
Just one more hunt and he would be able to completely digest the first magic potion.
Need to get up to strength as soon as possible...
Thinking about the scene on the bus where he was being played by someone else, Eleazar felt nauseous once again.
But his strength was inferior to others, so he could only bite his teeth and swallow it in his stomach now, waiting to take the second portion of the magic potion...
Eleazar grits his teeth for a few moments and pulls out his pocket watch to check the time.
"Well, it's already dinnertime."
Calming herself down for good, Eleazar walks out of the dorm and locks the door to her room behind her.
Arriving at dormitory 407 with the door to his room wide open and feeling the eerie and silent atmosphere inside, Eleazar knocked gently on the door.
"Excuse me, is Monk in?"
A rather menacing-looking fellow with his nostrils stuffed with an open ball of tissue paper, showing a bit of blood, knocked his hand on the bedpan above his head.
"Hey, someone's calling you."
Monk, his hair a mess from sleep, poked halfway out of the top bunk.
"Ah, is it dinner time? I'm coming."
He rolled out of bed and went to wash his face before pressing a hand through his hair in a bit of embarrassment.
"Accidentally fell asleep."
Eleazar smiled slightly, "It's fine, let's go then."
"Are you guys going to get dinner?"
The boy who replaced a tissue and slowly wiped his nosebleed looked at them and said calmly:
"Bring one up for me."
Monk hesitated, a little embarrassed to comply.
"Oh."
"Where's the money?"
Eleazar asked coldly.
"Come back and give it." The man replied without a care in the world.
"Give it now or don't bring it."
"I said come back and I'll come back and give it to you, are you looking for something to do!"
The boy burst into a rage, stepping down from his bunk and standing in front of them like a tower of steel, that tall 1 meter 9 head just stretching a bit, a fierce aura coming over him.
Monk shrank a little in fear.
Eleazar glanced absently at the bed frame beside him, which had been bent over its struts, causing it to bend down viciously at one corner, and reached out, slowly breaking the metal folded corner back to straight.
A piercing metallic sound resonated through the dormitory.
The 4 people in the room looked stunned.
"I said, give it now."
The 5'9" boy hesitated for a moment, glanced at the metal strut that still had a crease left in it, and with great reluctance pulled ten dollars out of his body.
"Go." Eleazar smiled.
Monk cast a grateful glance and hastened to follow.
