The man's words, spoken coldly from his thin lips, were heartless.
Sky took a deep breath, refusing to let his words hurt him.
Instead of continuing to humiliate himself, he raised his slender fingers and unbuttoned his coat one by one.
Underneath, he wore a blue knit sweater, which he removed by pushing it down from the neckline.
In an instant, Sky was left with only a bare chest.
He quickly slipped into his new manly matured clothes, completing the outfit in just two short minutes.
For Sky, however, those minutes felt like an eternity.
Finally, he was fully dressed.
"Mr. Li, I'm ready," he said softly, looking up at him.
Dray glanced over at him, his cold gaze taking in his long loose hair and slightly flushed cheeks.
The light blue and pearl white cloth accentuated his delicate and soft features.
He furrowed his brow.
The image of Sky standing before him in just his bare skin, his milky white skin glistening, flashed through his mind inexplicably which he found oddly familiar.
Realizing what he was thinking, Dray's expression grew even darker.
"Get out of the car now that you're ready," he said coldly, rising from his seat.
Sky saw the sudden change in Dray's demeanor and wondered what he had done to provoke him again.
He did as he said.
But he still looked like he was angered by him.
What an unpredictable man!
Sky thought helplessly, and could only obediently follow him out of the car.
The two of them walked into the elevator, one in front and one behind.
When the elevator door opened again, Sky hadn't even stepped out yet.
The man who had been cold and distant suddenly reached out and pulled him into his arms.
"Um..."
Sky made a soft sound, and his slender body stiffened in Dray's embrace.
The man's arms were long and powerful, and the big palm on his waist gave him a strange sense of familiarity.
It was as if he could easily break his waist with just a little force.
And this feeling of being controlled and unable to escape was just like that night with the night demon.
He instantly thought of the man who had pressed him against the door in the club.
Sky squirmed uncomfortably and his voice trembled slightly, "Mr. Li... I can do it myself..."
"Playing the role of my husband in front of my grandfather is your duty. Sky, you'd better behave yourself and not cause any trouble at this time."
Dray's cold voice reminded him.
It was also a warning.
He attributed all the unease and hesitation of the little man in his arms to him attempt to increase the price and add chips at the last minute.
Sky shrank his shoulders slightly.
He instantly understood the disdain in his eyes.
He was not a particularly a clean man to begin with, but to act flustered and uneasy after being held by him was just putting on an act.
Sky lowered his eyes and remained silent.
Seeing him return to being meek and obedient, Dray hugged him and pushed open the door to the VIP suite.
"Grandfather."
"Hmph, that brat Dray is here? Tell him I won't go to the hospital for treatment! I won't even see anyone from the Li family if I die in this nursing home..."
"Uncle Xander."
Just then, a soft and familiar voice came from behind.
"Hey, Sky? Sky, what are you doing here, and with Dray?!"
Xander, who had been throwing a tantrum in the suite, suddenly lit up at the sight of Sky.
His mood had been low these past few days because his favorite caregiver, Sky, had not shown up for several days.
And Dray had also been refusing his requests.
"Sky is my husband, of course he'll accompany me here."
Dray held Sky and sat down by Old Master Xander's bedside, his cold gaze glancing lightly at the old man.
"What? Husband! You mean..."
"We just got our marriage certificate a few days ago," Dray added calmly.
Old Master Xander took a sharp breath, but his joy outweighed his surprise.
He had thought his grandson would never agree to his conditions, but he didn't expect him to act so quickly and even get a marriage certificate.
"Sky, call me grandpa now," Dray pinched Sky's waist lightly, making him tremble in his arms.
Sky felt his face heat up, and his waist, which had been pinched by Dray, felt even hotter.
His voice trembled as he shyly said, "Grandpa..."
"Hey, good boy."
Old Master Xander couldn't stop smiling.
"I didn't know about your marriage beforehand, so I didn't have time to prepare a red envelope for you. How about I transfer some money to you through my phone?"
"No need, grandpa. Your blessings are enough for me. Don't spend your money,"
Sky declined politely.
"How can that be? It's only right for grandpa to give his grandson-in-law a red envelope. Here, let me transfer 90,000 yuan to you. It's a lucky number!"
Old Master Xander insisted on giving Sky a big red envelope, but he refused.
Fortunately, after his strong refusal, the old man finally respected him and gave up the idea of giving him money.
"Hmph, you little brat. Look at how good Sky is as a husband. I told you to marry him before, but you still argued with me..." Old Master Xander was extremely satisfied, watching as Dray lightly embraced Sky.
Although his grandson still had a cold and indifferent expression on his face, Old Master Xander knew that this was already a rare display of affection towards a man.
He couldn't help but laugh and ask, "So, how is it? Didn't I tell you that Sky is a good boy?"
"Well, your taste is naturally good, Grandfather," Dray replied calmly.
He didn't deny Old Master Xander's words, nor did he directly praise Sky.
"Tsk, you really..." Old Master Xander was dissatisfied and pursed his lips.
His grandson really didn't have a clue. He wanted him to praise his grandson-in-law, not to agree with himself.
Old Master Xander said disdainfully, "Forget it, you go out first. I have something to discuss with Sky alone."
Dray's eyebrows slightly furrowed, almost imperceptibly.
His cold gaze glanced at Sky, giving him a warning look to be careful with his words, before he stood up and left.
As soon as Dray left the room, Old Master Xander immediately grabbed Sky's hand.
"Sky, tell me the truth, did my grandson really marry you with a certificate? He didn't just get a fake certificate somewhere and fool me, did he?"
