"Mr. Sky, I found you. I'm Dan, Master Li's first assistant. I'll take you back to the city," Dan said, relieved to have found Sky.
Lary had finally found a lead on Miss Kin, the one who had taken the ring for Master Li. However, he had somehow managed to arrange a meeting with her at a nursing home.
Dan was busy trying to find Sky and send him away to avoid any embarrassment if Miss Kin were to see him.
"Dan? I've met you before. You were the one who helped me at the Stars restaurant...so you're Mr. Li's assistant!" Sky said, surprised to see Dan.
It was Dan, or rather, assistant Mark, who indirectly helped him and Anna avoid being kicked out by the manager at the restaurant that day.
"That's right, we met at the restaurant. Mr. Sky, please get in," Dan said with a faint smile, opening the car door for Sky.
He acted very professional and didn't want to bring up what happened that day.
Sky didn't ask any more questions and got into the car with him.
It wasn't until the car pulled up outside Sky's office building that Dan spoke to him for the second time.
"Mr. Sky, can I park here?"
Sky snapped out of his thoughts. All he could think about was the incident at the restaurant where he had almost been humiliated by Bella, before Dan had intervened.
Thinking back, he realized that if it weren't for Dan, he would have been publicly embarrassed by Bella.
"Yes, you can park here," he replied, hesitantly adding, "By the way, thank you for what you did at the restaurant. It was thanks to you that we were able to diffuse the situation."
"You don't have to thank me, Mr. Sky. It was arranged by Master Li, and I was just doing my job."
"Master Li?" Sky's mind went blank for a moment, and he almost lost his composure.
He never would have thought that Dray would have intervened to help him.
"Yes," Dan nodded, confirming his suspicions.
"If Mr. Sky wants to thank someone, it's best to thank Master Li in person. That day, Master Li happened to be dining in the VIP room and helped you out of the situation."
Dan's words echoed in Sky's ears until he returned to his studio and sat down, holding his electronic drawing board and drawing on it stroke by stroke.
His thoughts, however, drifted away uncontrollably.
Dray... he actually helped him behind the scenes?
That cold and ruthless man also had a compassionate heart.
Sky's gaze fell on the drawing board, but the image of the man's sharp and stern features inexplicably appeared before his eyes.
He remembered the first time he saw him, when he sent someone to take him out of the situation where he was being watched by his neighbors.
He even regarded him as a benefactor at one point.
Perhaps Dray was not as cold and cruel as he appeared on the surface.
Thinking of the two hundred thousand and the deadline of only two days left, Sky bit his lip lightly...
Perhaps he could try asking Dray for help.
What if he was willing to help him?

On the other side, in the visiting room of the sanatorium.
Dray sat on the sofa with his eyes closed, his brow slightly furrowed, and a chilling low pressure emanating from his body.
He was waiting for the person he was supposed to meet, who was already half an hour late.
"Master Li, there's a problem... Miss Kin said she has something urgent and can't meet us today," said the second assistant, Lary, rushing in.
His brother, Dan, had just gone to send Sky off, while he was responsible for picking up Miss Kin, who was not easy to find. But something unexpected happened on Miss Kins' side, and she canceled the appointment at the last minute, saying she would arrange another time.
"This Miss Kin is too cunning. She accepted our expensive gift but refused to show us the ring. She even postponed the meeting several times, obviously trying to lure us!"
"Master Li, shall I send someone to bring her here now to confirm if she has the ring you left with her?"
"Lary..."
Dray had opened his eyes at some point. His pitch-black pupils were filled with a coldness that was hard to ignore.
Even though he was slightly annoyed with the woman named Bella, - he had to follow up in the woman's play, to know where she actually got the ring because only him knew who he slept with was a man!!.
"Watch your words, Bella is not like those men like Sky. She... saved me. Remember, there won't be a next time."
Lary's face turned serious: "Yes, Master Li!"

After leaving the sanatorium, Dray returned to the company.
There was a sudden emergency meeting just before the end of the workday, and by the time he finished, it was already 9pm.
"Master Li, it's too late to go to the restaurants you usually go to for dinner. Why don't you drive back to the old mansion and have dinner there before returning?" Lary cautiously suggested.
Dray's stomach was extremely picky.
Most of the food in restaurants outside couldn't satisfy his taste buds.
Except for a few high-end restaurants, he rarely dined out. Even when he had to entertain, he drank more than he ate.
Only the chef at the old mansion could meet his picky taste.
Unfortunately, Master Li didn't like going back there.
"No, let's go straight back to the apartment." The man's voice came coldly from the back seat of the car.
Lary hesitated to speak, wanting to remind Dray that his stomach ulcer might act up again, but he didn't dare to say too much.
The car quickly returned to the apartment area.
When Dray entered the elevator, it was already 9:30 pm.
After what happened last night, he didn't expect the man at home to wait for him obediently.
However, when Dray swiped his fingerprint and pushed the door open, he smelled an unusually delicious aroma of food.
"Mr. Li, you're back. Um... I didn't know when you would be home tonight, and reheating the food would make it less tasty, so I made you some porridge."
"Have you eaten yet? The porridge is still hot in the pot. Shall I serve you a bowl?"
As soon as the door opened, a small man in loose home clothes appeared with a faint sweet smile, poking half of his head out of the dining room.
His watery eyes were glued to Dray.
Seeing Dray's cold gaze sweep over him, he couldn't help but bite his lip, assuming an innocent and nervous posture that made people want to bully him.
Dray's dark pupils tightened imperceptibly for a moment.
His gaze lingered on Sky's face for several seconds.
Then he coldly averted his eyes, ignoring him and heading straight upstairs.
"Mr. Li?"
Sky was stunned for a moment, then quickly picked up the freshly served porridge.
"If you don't want to eat downstairs, you can take it upstairs."
Sky followed him with the steaming porridge.
"That's enough, don't follow me anymore."
Dray suddenly turned around on the stairs, his icy gaze chilling.
He looked at the bewildered little man and spoke in his usual cold tone, "Sky, do you really think that by putting on a show in front of my grandfather today, you can become Mr. Li?"
Sky felt his scalp tingle under his icy gaze. "I...I didn't mean it that way."
"Hmph." Dray sneered, "If you didn't, then what are you doing now? Do you think that by pleasing me, you can get more benefits from me?"
"I...I didn't want any benefits."
He admitted that he had thought of borrowing the two hundred thousand from him, but it was not the only reason he had put up with all this.
"I just wanted to thank you..."
Sky bit his lip, his eyelashes trembling slightly as he looked at him with cautious, watery eyes.
"I heard from Dan that you helped me out of trouble at the Stars restaurant yesterday..."
Dray's eyebrows furrowed deeply.
Obviously, he didn't expect his assistant to tell him about this.
Sky continued in a soft voice, "So, I wanted to thank you in person..."
"You don't have to thank me."
Sky, "Huh?"
"If you accidentally save an ant, do you care about its feelings? Sky, I never intended to help you, I just did it because it was too noisy outside."
"You'd better have some self-awareness." Dray's lips curled into a cold, thin smile.
After he finished speaking, he turned and went upstairs.
Sky stood there, stunned for three seconds, feeling like his head was a mess, as if someone had slapped him face hard, leaving it stinging and sore.
He looked down at the hot porridge in his hand and without thinking, his lips moved and he spoke, "But the porridge... I spent all night cooking it. Would you like to taste it?"
He didn't say he had already eaten earlier, so he must not have had dinner yet.
It's not good to go on an empty stomach...
Even though he was just an ant, he was saved by him with an unintentional move.
Sky was not used to owing anyone anything, it made him feel uneasy.
This ant had nothing else to offer but his gratitude.
At least watching him drink this bowl of porridge would make him feel better.
Sky carefully followed him with the porridge, planning to put down the bowl and leave.
Unexpectedly, the man in front of him suddenly turned around, his cold and stern gaze fixed on him left foot about to step on the second floor step.
"Sky, I warned you not to go upstairs."
"I... I know. I'm not going up, I just want to put down the bowl..." Suddenly-
