Chapter 12 - Zero Pointer V/s Izuku Yagi

Izuku stood with the girl cradled in his arms, her body trembling with fear. His red eyes, glowing with a mixture of determination and anger, stared up at the massive Zero Pointer towering over him.

The robot's leg, which had just crashed down where the girl had been moments before, was now poised to strike again. Its hulking form loomed above him, a terrifying machine of destruction.

The ground beneath Izuku rumbled as the Zero Pointer adjusted its stance, its massive joints creaking and groaning under its weight. The robot's glowing red eyes locked onto Izuku, as if recognizing him as a threat. The air was thick with tension, the atmosphere crackling with the residual energy of explosions and malfunctioning circuits.

Izuku gently set the girl down, his expression softening as he reassured her. "Stay here," he said in a calm voice, his eyes never leaving the mechanical giant before him. "I'll take care of this."

The girl, still shaken, nodded silently, too terrified to do anything but obey. She huddled close to the ground, her eyes wide with fear as she watched Izuku stand and face the Zero Pointer alone.

Izuku took a deep breath, steadying himself. The scent of burnt metal and scorched earth filled his nostrils, grounding him in the moment. His hands curled into fists, and he could feel the energy pulsing through his veins, a surge of power that he knew he had to control. This was a test, not just of his strength, but of his resolve.

The Zero Pointer's massive arm began to move, gears whirring as it raised a colossal fist into the air. The ground trembled under its weight as it prepared to bring the fist down with enough force to crush anything beneath it.

But Izuku was ready.

In an instant, he leapt into action, his body moving with a speed that defied the limits of human capability. He pushed off the ground, propelling himself upwards with a burst of energy.

The Zero Pointer's fist came crashing down, but Izuku was already out of its path, soaring through the air with the grace of a seasoned fighter.

As he ascended, Izuku's eyes narrowed, his mind racing through a multitude of calculations. He knew that brute force alone wouldn't be enough to take down a machine of this size.

He needed a strategy, a plan to exploit its weaknesses. He needed to find a way to combine his abilities in a way that would allow him to deliver a decisive blow.

The Zero Pointer's sensors tracked Izuku's movements, its head swiveling to follow his ascent. Its eyes flashed with a bright red light, and a series of missiles launched from its back, streaking through the air towards him.

Izuku twisted his body mid-air, dodging the incoming projectiles with remarkable agility. The missiles exploded around him, filling the sky with fire and shrapnel, but none of them found their mark. He used the momentum from the blasts to propel himself further, his eyes fixed on the robot's head.

"Got you," Izuku muttered under his breath as he reached the apex of his leap. He extended his hand, and with a focused effort, summoned his wind element. The air around him began to swirl, forming a powerful vortex that whipped around his body, gathering strength with each passing second.

He could feel the wind responding to his will, bending to his command as it coalesced into a concentrated burst of energy. Izuku thrust his hand forward, and a powerful gust of wind shot out, aimed directly at the Zero Pointer's face.

The wind struck the robot's head with a force akin to a hurricane, the impact causing its sensors to flicker and malfunction. The Zero Pointer stumbled back, its massive frame shaking as the force of the wind threatened to knock it off balance.

Izuku didn't let up. He followed up the wind attack with a rapid descent, aiming for the robot's exposed neck joint. He knew that if he could disable its head, he could severely limit its ability to retaliate.

He landed with a forceful impact on the robot's shoulder, his feet digging into the metal as he braced himself for the next strike. With a swift motion, he channeled the fire element through his other hand, the flames igniting in his palm with a fierce intensity. The fire danced around his fingers, the heat radiating off him in waves as he prepared to deliver a devastating blow.

Izuku brought his hand down in a powerful strike, the flames engulfing the robot's neck joint. The metal sizzled and warped under the intense heat, the flames licking at the robot's circuitry and causing it to spark and smoke. The Zero Pointer let out a mechanical groan as its systems began to falter, its movements growing sluggish and erratic.

But Izuku wasn't finished yet. He could feel the energy within him building, a potent mix of wind and fire that was ready to be unleashed. He knew that this was his moment, the point at which he could end the battle with a single, decisive move.

Drawing upon the full extent of his power, Izuku combined the two elements, merging them into a swirling torrent of fire and wind. The air around him became superheated, the flames intensifying as they were fueled by the powerful gusts of wind. The resulting vortex was a storm of destruction, a maelstrom of fire and wind that crackled with raw energy.

Izuku raised his hand, the fiery tornado swirling around his arm like a living entity, ready to be unleashed. The Zero Pointer, now teetering on the brink of collapse, turned its head to face him, its sensors flickering as it tried to focus on the threat before it.

With a shout of determination, Izuku brought his arm down in a sweeping arc, directing the full force of the combined elements at the Zero Pointer's head. The fiery tornado surged forward, a destructive force of nature that tore through the air with a deafening roar.

The impact was cataclysmic. The fire and wind slammed into the robot's head, the sheer force of the attack ripping through its metal frame like it was made of paper. The Zero Pointer's head was engulfed in the fiery maelstrom, the flames and wind tearing it apart from the inside out.

For a moment, everything was silent. The world seemed to hold its breath as the Zero Pointer stood still, its body trembling under the strain of the attack. And then, with a final, explosive burst, the robot's head disintegrated into a cloud of dust and debris, the remnants of the once-mighty machine scattering to the winds.

The Zero Pointer's massive body swayed, its systems completely shut down. With a loud, earth-shaking crash, the robot collapsed to the ground, its massive frame crumpling under its own weight. The impact sent shockwaves through the arena, a testament to the sheer power of the attack that had brought it down.

Izuku landed gracefully on the ground, his chest heaving with exertion. The fire and wind around him dissipated, leaving only the lingering heat and the smell of scorched metal in the air. He glanced back at the girl he had saved, who was now staring at him with wide eyes, a mixture of awe and disbelief on her face.

All around the arena, the other students who had witnessed the battle stood frozen in place, their expressions mirroring that of the girl. They had watched in awe as Izuku single-handedly took down a machine that was designed to be nearly indestructible, and they could hardly believe what they had just seen.

In the recommendation room, the teachers were equally stunned.

Midnight's eyes were wide with shock, her mouth slightly agape as she tried to process what had just happened. "He... he destroyed it... with one attack..." she whispered, her voice filled with disbelief.

Aizawa, who had been watching the entire time, simply nodded, a rare look of approval on his face. "That kid..." he muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing as he studied Izuku's form on the screen. "Never seems to amaze me."

Even All Might, the symbol of peace and the world's greatest hero, couldn't hide his amazement. He stared at the screen, his eyes wide with shock and awe as he watched Izuku stand victorious over the fallen Zero Pointer. "Incredible..." he murmured, his voice filled with admiration. "That power... it's like nothing I've ever seen before..."

''I guess the training paid off.'', All Might thought

But as Izuku stood there, the weight of what he had just done began to sink in. His body trembled with exhaustion, the adrenaline that had fueled him slowly ebbing away. He could feel the stares of the other students, the weight of their gazes heavy on his shoulders. He knew that he had just made a statement, one that would resonate throughout the academy and beyond.

But for now, all he could think about was the girl he had saved, the look of relief and gratitude in her eyes. He approached her, extending a hand to help her up. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle and reassuring.

The girl nodded, her hands shaking as she took his. "Thank you... thank you so much," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion.

Izuku smiled softly, helping her to her feet. "You're safe now," he said, his eyes filled with kindness. "Let's get you out of here."

As they walked away from the wreckage of the Zero Pointer, the other students began to stir, the shock of what they had witnessed slowly fading. But the awe remained, a deep respect for the boy who had just taken down a giant with nothing but his own power.

At the recommendation room, Izumi watched the sudden display of fight at full hand but was surprised to see her friend, clearly gazing at the white hair boy in interest.

Which gave her an idea....

''Like what you see~'', Izumi teased making Shota blushed slightly making the princess giggled on her friend sudden interest
