"Oh... wow... speak of the devil and the devil shall come," Ingrid murmured.
She held eye contact with Caym briefly, but he just soon averted his gaze and resumed his conversation with the man before him.
"The Grand Commander really does have some sway. The person he is talking to seems to be an important individual," Ingrid remarked, wearing a radiant smile. "But I wonder, why isn't he wearing a mask? Isn't that a protocol violation?"
"He certainly holds a significant position. He's the youngest Grand Commander in history. And from the looks of it, he seems to be in conversation with Duke Humes, the Emperor's brother-in-law," Christine explained.
She tilted her head slightly and continued, "As for the absence of a mask... it might actually be more shocking... or intimidating... if he wore one. I believe the Grand Commander rarely attends parties."
