The Lily Palace basked in the morning sun's golden radiance, its intricately designed windows casting patterns of light and shadow across the elegant furnishings, creating a serene atmosphere within the chamber.

Bathed in the soft sunlight, Ingrid sat by the window—a solitary figure with silver hair shimmering like moonlit threads. A book lay open in her hands, but her gaze was fixed somewhere beyond the pages. The stillness of the room echoed the quietude of her contemplation.

Christine entered the room, her steps muffled by the plush carpets. Her eyes immediately landed on Ingrid, and a flicker of concern passed through her features. 

"Her Highness has not said much since last night," Christine thought. "She was supposed to go out again today to join the hunting competition as a guest, but she refused to prepare. What happened between them and the Grand Commander?"
