There is one person who isn't very happy with my decision. Mom. She started at me while I sat on the sofa working on today's plan. I was able to find locations of intruders, not all but enough to wipe them out within a week. I am starting to make changes starting today, and no one would have expected a secret attack not even Grandpa. I want to see his face once he knows about it.
But for now, my mother's glare is bothering me.
"Jade slaughter." she finally called me out making me look up at her with a smile. Her gaze is dark. Mom never opposes anything I do. Looks like I made her worried. But there is no going back. Even if I hurt her feelings. I am sure she will understand.
"I can explain Mom," I said.
"Go on."
I gulped.
"So grandpa said I have to do marriage to protect territory but I refused and asked him to give me a chance to prove myself."
Mom sighed and took a seat beside me. Grasping my face in her soft and warm palm she kissed my forehead lovingly.
"I am not going to stop you since it's your life and it's your right to make decisions but all I ask from you is to return to me safely."She said in a most gentle tone.
"Mom your daughter will always come back with a victory. I promise you."
"Let me tell you one thing, I am scared but I am proud of my daughter. Grandpa raised a powerful woman."
"Thanks to him, you, Ronnie, and our men who took care of me."
Mom laughed. I smiled enjoying her company today, usually, she drags me with her to do girly stuff she likes, and I avoided it. I am a tomboy but mom wants me to be a princess. It took her a few years to realize her daughter was born as a warrior, not a princess.
"Let's celebrate tonight for our new leader who will be handling things from now on." Mom suggested.
"As you wish. I will be handling a few things tonight." I informed her in advance.
"Will it be safe? At night?"
"Ronnie and soldiers will be with me so don't worry."
I got a text from Ronnie telling me that he assembled everyone in the garden as I asked him to do. Assuring Mom I walked towards the garden where I found all the soldiers waiting for me. Seeing me they did a quick bow. Ronnie leaned on the nearby wall watching the scene unfolding in front of him.
"As you already got the news of me temporarily handling things first of all I want to ask if anyone has an objection?"I asked.
"No young Miss, we will follow orders of the leader Besides we have seen you train so we trust you." one of the men who used to guard me said.
"We hope you will do well and as the leader says if you are capable then no one will stop you." Another one said.
Hearing no objections and reading their pleased faces I smirked. They must have thought that they would get a break from Grandpa and rest. Oh boy, how wrong they are. I already planned most of the things for this month and I will add more later. Sure they will get rest but only if they accomplish missions. I will raise hell and have to train my demons well.
"I found locations of traitors most of them. Tonight we will be taking them down as much as possible." I announced. The crowd didn't say anything but I geared a few gasps.
"Already?" They question.
"Yes, listen carefully. Everyone will go on a mission leaving few to guard the house. I want one person to get rid of at least 25 to 30 enemies. You are only allowed to come back when you finish your task or if you are brutally injured after taking my permission." I explained them. All of them were dead silent. I glanced at Ronnie but found his face blank as usual. Damm brat. I showed them my laptop screen of the camera recording everything live. Few of their faces paled.
"As you can see, I have eyes at every corner of the territory. If you dare to slack off then get ready to be punished." I said with an innocent smile. "Plus you will get double work if it's not done."
Some of their faces fall while a few of them look at me with wide eyes. Also, some faces look proud and pleased. I glanced at Ronnie and found him smirking. Looks like I managed to win them.
"I will be joining you too. So tonight is the hunt and I want all of you wide awake. Taking them down gets rid of trash from our territory. Make sure no one dares to mess with us again." I announced with confidence and a serious tone.
"Yes." All of them shout simultaneously.
With a nod, I turn around walking back in. Ronnie followed me. I found Grandpa's right-hand man Delian leaning on the wall with a small smile playing on his lips.
"Hi, you missed the session," I said.
"No Princess I didn't. By the way good job." He said.
I nod. He walked out towards the rest of the soldiers. Getting back in I showed all the locations to Ronnie so we could format a proper plan. Once we were done we joined Mom for dinner. Grandpa wasn't able to make it up to dinner. Once I was done I dressed up in black pants, a turtle neck t-shirt, and a jacket. I put a mask and cap on. Grabbing my essentials I walked out towards the garden finding Ronnie and soldiers dressed up similar fashion as me. Ronnie gives me a quick nod Indicating he informed our plan too. Mom standing in the corner with a smile. I gave her a salute and faced the soldiers.
"Let's begin our hunt. Good luck everyone. Make Grandpa proud of your work." I said
With a nod, they made their way to the garage. When they were gone I waved at Mom and headed towards the garage too. Ronnie drove us to our location. I made a few groups that will handle any attack on shops and other luxuries while a few others are raiding the warehouse of enemies. The rest of us will go alone and hunt down one at a time. Once we got to the location Ronnie handed me a gun. I took it gladly. Grandpa didn't allow me to use a gun but I did have drawers with me in case of an attack.
"Use only when necessary, it doesn't make noise so you can use it public but don't do anything stupid," said Ronnie.
"I got this. Good luck then let's part our way."
"If something goes wrong call me instantly. Nothing is more important than your life."
I nod. He is overprotective as always. Once we got separated I found a traitor in the public garden. His tattoo is visible on his neck. Using stealth I managed to get behind him making no noise. Since Grandpa didn't make any effort to stop them they looked chill. I knocked him out before he noticed me. I chuckle realizing my classes get paid off well today. I took his phone checking the recent calls and if anything else. Nothing special but his companions are going to the west where my people are already stationed. More are coming here.
I paused when I heard a rustle of leaves and three men came out glaring at me.
"Who do you work for?"He demands.
"I work for me," I said tilting my head.
"Get this bitch."
The man came forward trying to grab my wrist, I let him and kicked between his legs causing him to fall in pain. I grin. The other two dash toward me, pulling out knives I sliced their wrist and necks. I got these from my bodyguard. Dude seriously how he can hand such weapons to a child? I was very young when I got it. Good, I didn't use it on anyone else. I don't want to kill innocent people.
I managed to get rid of 15 more until I noticed a guy pointing a gun at my forehead standing a few feet away from me. I can't read his expression but I bet he isn't happy with his companion barely breathing on the ground.
I still trying to find a way to get him down. I heard a few more noises when the other ten of them joined. Their face holds angry expressions after finding their companion in a horrible situation.
"My men are near so don't make any mistake, if you want to live," I said trying to distract them. At least someone will be nearby.
"Kill her."
Dang it.
I noticed a moment behind the guy pointing a gun at me. Someone is behind him approaching him silently. I gazed at the men glaring at me.
"I wish you a fun trip to hell."
