"This is sudden. What am I supposed to survive?" Right on time Victor fell to his knees. Stopping her story short Miria aims to catch her master before he can hit his face on the ground once again.
Off into the land of dreams, Victor is unmoving with no act of shaking from his family able to wake him.
Life is quite unfair for the Vampire child. His father hates him. His mother ignores him to escape the heartbreak of losing him in the future. His older sister tortures him when ever she gets the chance. And now he is called weak for being a baby. Life is truly cruel and yet he is still the most kind and hopeful child he was on earth.
Victor, who should have been mad for being in this predicament, was feeling rather calm and collected. He opened his eyes to see a blood red sky. His ears heard nothing but a loud whistle of wind blowing.he felt the air around him moving in a constant flux.
" Am I going down?" He turns his body to see what was happening to him. An action he came to regret. " Crap the ground!"
SMACK
His body hit the substance beneath him. Though it hurt it did not feel as bad as it would have if it were concrete. With a small grown he stood up and look all over.
" System where am I?" He asked, but received no reply. He hasn't been without the system since he got to this world.
Victor wasn't scared as he knew the system was more of a teacher rather than a buddy. If it wasn't around listening to his commands, it wanted him to do something alone and learn from the experience.
Victor chose a direction to walk in and took a couple steps. It didn't take him a minute to find what this mission was aiming for him to do.
"This is a joke right? Please just let me wake up." The steps he took came to a sudden stop as behind him he heard something he hoped he could have just imagined. He knew better than to believe it was all imagination though.
There were hisses, growns, cracking sounds and more funky noises behind him. As he turned to look he saw a sight that even a worrior of a hundred battle would never want to see.
Not hundreds or even thousands. What he saw was billions of undead, vampires, giant spiders, zombie orcs, and in the middle of this ridiculous hoard something he couldn't believe.
" This can't be real. You want me, a two year old to survive this. All these creatures who are stronger than me and to ad as a freaking bonu, a dragon! How am I going to beat a dragon." Victor took a glance at his surroundings. It was clear open land of solid bloody surface.
With no choice Victor chose to run away. A decision that was short lived as a vampire, who based on smell was a Youngblood, kicked him in his ribcage. Victor felt the pain of completely crushed bone. He couldn't die again but how was he meant to survive.
Back in the the mansion
" Anna, you will calm yourself." Just after Victor was taken out of the room Raphael took the time to calm his eldest daughter.
Her arua was a pale gust of red, bit despite the weak look of it the coldness it brought was unbearable for most. Vampires usually are resistant to cold. Her power however could freeze even the strongest vampires still. At the lord level she is only two ranks under her father. She is the youngest ever to achieve this rank. The hands of all I. The room started to become numb. Rebecca felt as if she was to step into the mix she would have to use her full power to stop her daughter. That would not be good for the surroundings.
Rebecca chose to take Estelle out of the room. She could tell she was not ready to be in the presence of her father. They decided to go and check on Victor at a distance. Rebecca loved her family dearly. Having known her son was destined for death made her keep her distance from him. However, she never failed to be a mother when he needed her.
Anne was about to start a little rampage until she slowed her maddening and picked up on something rather peculiar. " You smell like shadow kin."
Raphael knew this was strange as shadow kin haven't met with any other race in a long time. " The king and the Dragon king decided to finish off their race for good. It was a slaughter, but they are hard to track underground."
His face said it all. They had killed very little of the enemy. The shadow kin can move in shadow. Hard to kill what doest actually exists. Not only that, but Vampires aren't known for holy magic. It's a big weakness for any shadow user.
Anne couldn't keep up her little spat. Even she wasn't crazy enough to fight Raphael if he was upset about not being able to kill his enemies during a war. Killing and destruction are all that matter to Alucards descendants. They are built for combat. The ones born with the growing madness are worse. They can't survive without bloodshed.
"Just don't go Killing him. If you mean to dispose of my brother just leave him to me." Anne, with a wide smile on her face, wanted to inflict actual pain on her brother. The teasing and small amounts of bone snapping were becoming boring for her.
In the room her son was sleeping on his bed, Rebecca stood at the door watching as Estelle hugged the unconscious boy. Clearly a pain sprung in her heart when the seen filled her vision.
"I hate him." Estelle announced to the room. They all knew who she meant, but noone said anything. Rebecca let the girl spill her anger out. Why not, at the moment she was not her dear husbands biggest fan either.
Miria and Ronald stood to the side of the room and waited for the pair to leave. Though they would act normal around little Estelle, all other family members were treated as the enemy.
They couldn't, due to Victor's order, tell the others anything about what happened not to long ago. Their master fell right infront of them. As a baby Victor had to make sure the strange things he did stayed secret. He had Miria as his servant so all he needed to do was tell her not to tell what he was up to.
Though they would have anyway. Victor saved both of there lives that day Mirias husband went feral. He did not change into any undead. Even if he became a vampire it was not a proper one. They knew it couldn't have been their master who did the deed.
This made there loyalty endless. Ronald swore to protect his master, and Miria pledged to give all the love a mother was supposed to give to her baby.
She couldn't act now, bit she made a silent vow never to let what is going on with Victor now happen again.
Bloody, beaten and man sized claws in his back Victor had the light snuffed out of his eyes. Piles upon piles of bodies lay in the world of red sky. He had done well to make it so far, but the dragon was determined to stop his advancement.
Victor knew running was not an option so he used his endless blood control abilities to the max. Running on fumes after killing twenty- six enemies the dragon felt like the power it had must be displayed. Victor did well in the fight with the others, but he was not untouchable. He was beaten and battered up to the dragon entering the fight.
The dragon flung the body of Victor far, far away. Landing in the middle of an other swarm of enemies. His healing ability revived him to a working state. He could move and raise one arm. He had a couple of last ditch effort techniques left.
"Bloody meat grinder." This was a desperate attempt as he had no energy left to fight using blood magic. Though it used no mana lime usual vampires, it did take its toll mentally.
After the casting was complete giant fin like blood spikes came from the ground beneath the feet of everyone in a hundred meter radius. The fins started to move in clockwise and counter clockwise rotations. The didn't even follow a set path. Just following their movement would be impossible for any normal being.
The splattered blood and caused a torrent of guts and bone to fly all over. The brutal seen brought no joy to the mind of Victor.
This was just a small victory that was going to get far worse. Victor had one good arm and that meant he could fight. For how long it was anyones guess. He didn't know how long it had been anyways.
Victor continues to shred enemies as the fins started to spread out amongst the hoard. Victor heard the whaling of a giant creature to his left and when he did a smile was put on the face. The type that screamed " I'm going to skin you failed lizard.
It was then another howl was heard. Much larger than the last one. It carried well and with it came an earthquake.
" Trail. What trial? If you ask me you want to kill me no doubt. I feel like a nobbie gamer vs the final wave in the final boss room."
