Victor falling through the air once again had a slightly different arua around him. His body was stiff and his mind calm. However, the energy flowing around and through him was a torrent of fast moving red waves.
He felt rejuvenated. Not because of the power increase, but because for the first time in 43 deaths the the system hadn't told him the enemies were getting stronger.
The amount of times would seem crazy to him, especially since it took him over an hour to die the first time, however for every time Victor had gained an inch in power the enemies gained a mile. All reapers became elderlich. Orcs became orc kings. Every vampire is a lord. All the creatures he was fighting are now incredibly powerful. He no longer can kill any of them except the hob goblins and giant black spiders.
He finally got to the ground ready for action. He had two twin daggers in his hands. Every time he died in the trial his previous weapon would either get destroyed or lost to the hoards.
He has used scythes, swords, battle axes, and even an ogres club. He stole the daggers from a kobold, a dog snout goblin looking creature. They were now red with black handles. The blade as long as a grown mans forearm.
Victor quickly took off running forward. He went to challenge the hoard with all he's got. A few steps in he stopped running and came to a still.
'Where did they all go.' Victor was now seeing the land that was filled to the brim with horrors of Eden completely empty.
Not a single soul was ready to do battle. His boiling anger was reaching a new height. He wanted to fight more. He is not battle hungry like his sister, but when he activates the devil gene he becomes violent.
Victor can't see anything around him. He doesn't know these lands and chose not to walk in a random direction. He instead tried to focus on his vampiric abilities that he usually forgets about. His strong sense of smell and hearing happened to be the right thing to use at the time.
Right as he focused his senses he heard a heavy weight falling from the sky. Looking up he found the black dragon from all the battles before plummeting down faster than a meteor fall. He quickly turned himself into mist, an ability he got from watching a reaper turned intangible.
He had a thought that vampires can shape-shift into bats, but he couldn't so he tried many other forms from lore in his old world. He was able to take the form of a misty cloud and a bloody silhouette.
The dragon dived through the mist and caved the bloody goop that formed the surface of the world he was in. The crater filled in an instant and the Dragon looked around for the insect that should have been crushed under its weight.
Victor can't hold the form for long, but he had no intention of hiding anyway. Allowing himself to be seen he was about to rush the dragon. He got close, but the it jumped up and hovered over the ground.
Victor saw it in all its glory. Three stories high, sharp talons able to cut though steel easily, and eyes as red as Victors. It had tall spikes running the length of its body. It's teeth all the length of a grown man. In the center of its chest a white orb could be seen. Victor knew it wasn't there before. That meant this creature evolved sometime when he was dying in earlier battles.
"Boy. I have killed all your enemies for you so that we can have a glorious fight. Though you are weak, and small you will now learn more about becoming a true paragon in this world. I Hevstuslivanthiany shall make you suffer so you can one day avenge me." Victor wasn't even going to try to pronounce the name of this dragon. He just wanted to kill it and leave this hell.
Victor of course knew beating the dragon was impossible. He still had to give it his best. He stood ready. His daggers up and his stance strong. He ran in and jumped with all his might. He got as close as possible and slashed down. His right handed dagger broke on impact.
The dragon caught the falling vampire in his hand and squeezed with literally no effort. Victor found himself falling through the sky again.
Long before he hit the ground a ball of fire hit him and he was nothing, but ash after. Again falling he was ready to try and dodge the fire, but it never came. He landed on the ground and suddenly everything became dark. Victor found a slimy feeling around his person before sharp pains stabbed him all over. Once again sending him to the sky.

The dragon had no mercy. It killed Victor over and over again. He was never able to fight back and the only thing that kept his mind from breaking is the anger that was raging out of control.
Victor had finished the trial, but never awoke from bed. His mental stated was not so good and he was exhausted. Sleep was all he wanted to do for the rest of eternity.
In the morning, which is sunset for the vampires, Miria had to wake up her little master. He had a very important meeting with his father.
She lifted the covers off of Victor and quick stepped back. It was a weird thing to see her do and Victor who was still sleepy eyed woke up in an instant. He was ready for any ambush. The trial made it so he was always on gaurd.
He noticed nothing wrong in the room and wondered what was wrong. He looked at Miria with a confused look and noticed her eyes were staring at his body.
'She can't be one of those can she? No this woman has taken care of me like a son.' He looked down to see what all the fuss was over. His night clothes were all covered in blood and torn apart leaving scraps. His body was healing at a visible rate, but he could tell the gouge, and scratch marks came from claws.
His hands are covered in blood and his fingers are all broken. Miria gasped looking at Victors neck. It was clear his throat was torn out. She ran in and hugged her little master. Victor however didn't know how to process the fact that his finger nails were now black and sharper than ever. Infusing his blood into before still couldn't make them this powerful.
'Status' Victor decided to check himself after remembering the system telling him he was stronger.

"My baby, are you okay? Your mother's here. I won't let anything happen to you ever again. Was it your father? Did he do this. I don't have the power yet, but when I so he will pay." With overly mother like affection Miria tended to her master. She looked at him like her own flesh and blood for two whole years. And now he is just that.
"I'm fine. In fact most of this is great news." Victor got off the bed and put on some new clothes. They were the exact same as his last, but this time black. He walked out the room and left Miria with the mess. She struggled to comprehend that a young boy can take the initiative to claw out his own throat and get back up nonchalantly. She then made a silent vow.
" This family is trash. One day I will kill all of them. Then and only then can my three children live in peace." She thought about Victor, Ronald, and Estelle as she contemplated how to gain the power to do what needs to be done.
