Starfania went quiet. She didn't know how to respond to his question because, deep down, she knew it was wrong. Why would it choose her when she was merely an outcast among her people? Where the gods seem to despise her and play cruel pranks on her. But how do you explain this? A sword that appeared once her best friend was gone from her life. The voice that just spoke through her and told her that she was a Dragon Savior. There really is no way to explain it. You just have to take a leap. Violet broke Starfania out of her mind when she scratched her head in confusion by asking. " What on earth does that even mean? "
" I don't know either, " she admitted with a shrug. " Looks like we'll need to think harder to solve this riddle. "
Violet nodded, furrowing her brows in determination to figure this out. Starfania and Aeron exchanging knowing glances. That whatever this riddle had in store for them was going to lead them on one crazy adventure. Then Aeron decided to point something out. " Quick question. What's the game plan for that sword? "
Starfania simply smirked as she slowly tilted head to the side in an innocent matter. " Umm… isn't it obvious the sword is coming with us? "
Aeron simply sighed at his best friend's antics. " Fair enough. "
She was feeling a bit playful as she added, " The tricky part is going to hide this sword. If only it can fit into my pockets! "
The three of them shared a laugh, easing some of the tension that had lingered in the air. Aeron leaned in slightly, a mischievous glint in his eyes. " What if we pretend it's a really fancy walking stick? "
Starfania chuckled at the absurdity, but she looked at the sword more closely, until something unusual caught her eye. She noticed intricate symbols and markings lined its blade, faint but distinct. As her fingers traced the elegant carvings, her curiosity overtaking her, and she leaned closer, trying to decipher the text. Carefully reading it aloud. " Press the jewel and unlock the revelation of the first enigma. "
Aeron raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her discovery.
"A revelation? Now that sounds like a proper adventure," he said, his voice low as if they were sharing a secret. Starfania straightened up, excitement bubbling within her. "There might be more to this sword than we thought. What do you think the jewel refers to?"
