Blank Techniques

This auxiliary chapter isn't important like the rest of the auxiliary chapters. You can totally ignore this, as this contains spoilers and will most likely ruin your reading experience.

In this chapter, a much detailed explanation of Enkai's original technique that he has dubbed the 'blank techniques' is written.

Blank Techniques – These refer to a set of original techniques Enkai created to eliminate the weakness called hand signs from Ninjutsu.

These techniques can be categorised into three categories—

1. Passive techniques – Techniques that need a constant influx of chakra to keep running.

2. Specialised Techniques – Techniques created to counter very specific things.

3. Absolute Techniques – Techniques that are so strong that they can rival the absolute beings of the Naruto verse.

Enkai can perform a total of thirty different blank techniques. This is the list of blank techniques he has used so far –

1. Blink – One of his specialised Techniques for movement. By concentrating and molding his wind chakra under his feet he releases it in an instant which momentarily gives Enkai an explosive speed boost. There is no upper limit to how much chakra he can put in this technique; there is no upper limit to how much he can increase his explosive speed.

Con(s) – If he doesn't have enough sensory input he will be blind during the period of his blink; this risks him crashing into something and dying immediately.

2. Blank Foothold – One of his specialised Techniques for movement. By spreading and rotating concentrated chakra in a disc-like motion, Enkai can create a temporary foothold under his feet. This, in turn, lets him stand or even walk on air.

Con(s) – There aren't any, as long as Enkai teaches it to somebody they will also be able to perform it.

3. Extrasensory Perception or ESP – By releasing very little amounts of wind chakra around him he perceives the changes in the air; this works similarly to a modern-day radar.

Con(s) – (1) Consumes a huge amount of chakra. (2) Must have an astronomical amount of chakra reserves. (3) Must have enough control over that chakra to constantly emit thin waves of it.

4. External Reflex or ER – By processing the input received from ESP in his subconscious brain, Enkai moves his body with wind chakra. It is similar to how a feather, a leaf or a piece of paper falls to the ground.

Con(s) – (1) Consumes a huge amount of chakra. (2) Must have an astronomical amount of chakra reserve. (3) Must have enough control over that chakra to constantly keep this technique running. (4) Must have enough mental strength to keep it running. (5) The Movement Pattern is random and unpredictable even to Enkai. (6) When tired or asleep he can't use it.

5. Shotgun Punch – One of his specialised techniques for wide-range knockback. By concentrating a huge amount of wind chakra around his forearm he punches and releases it in a spread shot. In close range, it causes huge amounts of widespread damage and in long range, it feels like a heavy gust of wind.

Con(s) – Consumes a lot of chakra; deadly for any ordinary ninja.

6. Beast Claws – One of his specialised techniques for close-quarter combat. Enkai moulds and further concentrates his wind chakra into the shape of extended claws.

Even a single scratch from these can cause tens of tear and slash wounds and if hit with a direct attack the target will be ripped apart from the inside out; this is made possible thanks to the fundamental property of wind that cuts and slashes everything.

Con(s) – (1) This consumes so much chakra that he can't use it in his offence mode when he can't access the nine tails' chakra. (2) He can cause fatal injury to himself if used carelessly.

7. Sniper Punch – One of his specialised techniques for breaking defences. Unlike its name, it doesn't shoot a blob of wind chakra in long ranges. Instead, by concentrating and moulding his chakra around his forearm similar to his shotgun Punch. He shoots a blob of chakra in a single point.

Con(s) – (1) Consumes a lot of chakra; deadly for any ordinary ninja. (2) Must be close to the target for it to work effectively.

8. Vāyu's Push – Inspired by the Almighty Push performed by Pain, Enkai had created a technique that sends an omni-directional wave of extremely strong wind. He achieves this by releasing chakra from every tenketsu point from his body, compressing it and then releasing it all at once.

Con(s) – (1) Consumes an astronomical amount of chakra. (2) Requires extreme chakra control.
