Chereads / Uchiha With the Nine Tails / Chapter 3 - The Blue Dwarf

Chapter 3 - The Blue Dwarf

In a fairly big room that didn't have much personality to it, a boy was standing in front of the mirror. He was staring at the mirror. More specifically, he was making different expressions.

A huge smile, a moderate smile, an emotionless face, an angry face, a sad face, and then a pitiful face. Looking at his pitiful face he frowned and clicked his tongue.

Tch!

No matter how much he tries, he still doesn't seem to be able to act pitiful with all the muscles he has. He looked at his well-defined and battle-hardened muscles. He wasn't bulky, nor did he have very sharp and well-defined muscles, but he believed this was the best physique for a ninja.

He then looked towards his left where the only window of his room was,

Drip-Drop!

He looked at the rain as it poured with no intention of stopping and muttered,

"Seven in the morning, huh." Even though it always rains in Amegakure, it rains differently based on different times of the day.

He then sighed, he should start wearing his gear now. Soon, out of the room came a boy. He was wearing black clothes, a similarly black fedora hat and a black poncho on top of it. He also had a mask and gloves on. (Reference Images can be found in the comment section.)

If one were to look at it from outside they wouldn't be able to tell a thing about what kind of equipment or weapons he had, the only weapon that can be seen was the hilt of the sword on his waist.

He then walked across the complicated infrastructure called the Amegakure Shinobi Headquarters. He stopped only when he was in front of a relatively large door, he pushed the door open with one hand and entered the room.

"Greetings Blue Dwarf." Everybody who was there stood up and said in unison before they started leaving.

"You're here." Hanzo's face lit up when he saw the little guy with blue eyes enter the room.

"You have gained quite the fame, blue dwarf."

"Oh, don't call me that." Enkai rolled his eyes before taking a nearby seat.

"So? What's the occasion?" Hanzo relaxed in his seat and asked while looking through some scrolls.

"I am leaving."

"Akatsuki again huh...wait, what?!" Hanzo's voice got louder with each passing second, when he calmed down he asked, "Why?" with emotions, he thought he had forgotten.

"I am turning thirteen this year in a couple of days." And Canon will start soon.

"At least stay until we defeat the Akatsuki, we have already forced them into a corner. I am expecting one final battle before we kill off the leaders of the Akatsuki.."

"No... Believe me, I want to stay here too. It's just that..something very important is going to happen in the future and if I don't interfere now then there will be no going back." Enkai looked at Hanzo with melancholy.

"Is that why you said five years back then?" Hanzo chuckled, as he stood up stepping on the scroll that was rolling on the floor. At other times he would have picked that scroll up, but not right now.

"Yeah," Enkai said with a slight crack in his voice.

"Time flew by so fast," Hanzo looked up and reminisced about the past.

______

"So you lived." Hanzo looked at the boy with the pristine skin.

"If you didn't see something as obvious as that coming, then you're just blind, old man." Enkai looked at the sitting lion, his Sharingan now turned off revealing his bright blue eyes.

"What did you say?" Hanzo growled,

"So you admit what I said?" Enkai raised one side of his lips.

"Heh!" Hanzo chuckled softly when he heard that, Some might get offended by provocations like that but that just means that they are insecure about it. To Hanzo, who was so comfortable in his own skin, childish provocations like that are nothing but jokes.

Hanzo rested his cheek on his fist and said, "Well, you have my attention, say what you want to say."

"I want you to teach me your poison abilities as well as your scythe techniques and jutsus, provide me with everything I need and let me stay here for the next five years."

"...and why would I do that?" Hanzo was speechless for a bit by how straightforward that was.

"Because, if you do as I say then I will tell you everything there is to know about the Rinnegan – the eye of the god, how to defeat Akatsuki, information about the founding members of Akatsuki, and how to become the sole leader of Amegakure," Enkai said in one breath, but he didn't stop there as he further explained,

"I don't know if Danzo has contacted you yet, but if he hasn't then he soon will. Danzo isn't a man to scoff at, as while not being physically strong, that guy is a serpent. I will also help you deal with him."

"How do you even know so many things?" Hanzo asked the first question that came to his mind.

"I cannot tell you that," Enkai said in a flat tone.

"Then the deal is off." Hanzo also said in a flat tone.

Enkai sighed and put his head down before saying, "Have you ever heard of the reaper death seal?" He looked at Hanzo, his brows knitted.

"Just the name."

"The reaper death seal is a secret technique of the Uzumaki clan. When used, it summons a literal shinigami that kills its caster and the caster's target." Enkai then pointed his thumb behind him and said, "It's not that I don't want to tell you, it's just that I can't tell you. If I do then the reaper will come and kill you, me and everybody who heard it."

"..." Hanzo nodded with a serious expression when he heard that, and then said, "That's too bad because I can't trust you if you intend to hide things from me. How would I know that you won't kill me the moment I let my guard down? You're bargaining with me while talking about future enemies, but what if you turned out to be my biggest enemy?"

"I think you're misunderstanding something, I am not saying that you trust me, I am saying that you trust your own judgement. In future, you will die a very pathetic death, that's all I will say." Enkai knew that Hanzo had always prioritised his life above all else, and he intended to exploit that.

______

Haah...

Hanzo sighed once again and then looked at the now-grown kid wearing black attire. He came near him and placed one hand on his shoulder.

"Enkai, When will you be heading out? Do you have everything packed up? Do you need something? More money? Perhaps a Whetstone?" Hanzo asked slightly concerned, his whole life he had only known the art of combat and he never had anybody he could call family.

Enkai who has spent half a decade with him was perhaps the only person he has ever grown attached to. Hanzo knew that Enkai had much, much more in him than he lets on but he had also seen him grow, he had seen how he only trained, did missions, discussed important decisions with Hanzo and repeated this over and over again.

In more ways than one, Enkai reminded him of himself. He who has only known war and suffering somehow didn't want Enkai to be that way and although he would never admit it, somewhere along the way he stopped acting like a superior to him and took on the job of being a father.

"I will be heading out at midnight and no I don't need anything else anymore. Any more than what I already have, and it would just slow me down." He laughed a bit, lifting his poncho and showing the different kinds of weapons and scrolls hidden underneath it.

"I see, do you have anything in mind around evening?" Hanzo asked as he straightened his posture.

"No, I will be saying my final goodbyes to everyone."

"Very well, meet me at the training hall when the sun sets. Let us have a final spar." Hanzo said, before turning around and returning to his seat.

"Then I will see you then," Enkai said and he walked away.

As the footsteps faded away, Hanzo hunched his back and sat down in his chair. When Enkai walked away, the people who left the room when he entered started entering again.

Soon the room was filled with executives again as they started discussing the affairs of Amegakure.

...

Enkai has been here for five years now. When he was first transmigrated here he was confused, scared, and above all purposeless. But now at least he has a purpose.

Enkai was always the type to go with the flow. Even in his previous life, he never had a dream, he studied in schools, played games, and hung out with his friends, and he died on the day he graduated.

But that isn't the point, the point is; he never had a purpose and always went with the flow of things. That isn't to say that he is a pushover, however. It's just that he never had a goal in life or anything like that.

To be honest, if he were to be born as a regular citizen even in the world of Naruto he would have just lived his life as one. He wouldn't have done anything to change that.

Except he was born as the amalgamation of the two most important and impactful characters in this whole universe. At this point, he knew if he stayed passive the whole world would be destroyed ten times over.

As such, even though it isn't by his own will, he has found a purpose.

Enkai sighed, his spine bowed.

As he now has a goal, to fulfil his goal he must sacrifice things important to him. He doesn't want Hanzo to die but he knows there is no other way.

It's not that he can't kill pain, as he is now he is confident that he can wipe out the entirety of Akatsuki as it stands, but killing pain won't stop anything. When Obito shows up, it's over.

Thanks to his intervention, Akatsuki has been pushed to the very corner. Their back is already against the wall, these days Enkai falls asleep scared that Obito will sneak attack them here and wipe them all out, out of desperation.

He can no longer stay here, if he does then that will only result in his untimely demise.

Then there is also the fact that canon is starting in a few months.

He needs to gather some comrades before then and counterattack Orochimaru to gain some hashirama cells out of it and assassinate Danzo.

Over the years, Danzo has contacted Hanzo many times. Enkai has already warned Hanzo about it and has also stated to never look at his eyes.

Then he looked at the shinobi walking in front of him, he went close to him and in a deep voice different from his own he said, "Sentao-san, let us have a talk as it may as well be our last..."

He will miss the old man.
