Grandmother did not leave the room where Rosalind lay. She stood beside her like a mother would do. Rosalind's mother was called to the palace because she did not want her to get worried and take the girl away from the city.
Emmeline, Rosalind's mother, lived in another city. She was a friend to the late king when he was alive. If not for the fight between Emmeline and her sister over the king, she would have been the queen mother today.
Rosalind would have been the princess and King Alistair would not have been born.
Grandmother shook her head as she walked to bed. It would be ill of her to have such a thought. Alistair was the child she has come to love so much.
"Granny…," Rosalind called. Finally, the girl was awake with tears in her eyes.
Grandmother sent everyone away, including her aunt. She was going to scold Rosa for taking this acting to another level.
"Rosa, how are you feeling?"
