"How long will this go on for?" Zane asked.
Adam had been 'fighting' the pink haired woman for two minutes after the others finished with their fights.
The group had decided to wait for Adam to finish before going to find out what happened to David. However it didn't seem like Adam's fight was gonna end anytime soon.
Adam had seen that the rest had finished fighting, and he was sure that his opponent also knew that her team had lost.
"Come on let's stop this... please!?" Adam said.
"Less talking more fighting" the lady said as she threw an earth pillar at Adam, who promptly dodged to the side.
"Look your team has already lost!" Adam pointed at the group who was watching their fight. It was considered bad manners to interrupt a mage's fight, as long as said mage wasn't in grave danger.
"So?, Peter may still be alive" The woman said. However after blocking an earth ball, Adam could feel that it wasn't as powerful as before.
"Even if Peter is alive he can't fight against three mages alone!. Your team lost accept that!" Adam tried to convince her.
"No!" the woman screamed as her attacks gained more fervor.
"Fine you leave me no choice" Adam announced.
He them stopped running and created a wind wall between him and his opponent. He then put his hands together and closed his eyes. Separating his palms, wind started gathering between them, even the group 80 meters away could feel the air change direction.
"That's gonna be a powerful spell" John said and everyone nodded, except for Clara. She only had a complicated expression.
Adam held a sphere of invisible air in his hands. "Wind cannon" he said as he turned his palms to face the woman.
WHOOSH!
The ball of air in Adam's hands exploded outwards towards the woman, and extreme panic could be seen on her face. That attack would kill her!. One should remember that Adam was two ranks above her.
The Wind Cannon created a vortex of wind barreling towards the woman at high speed, anything 20 meters of the vortex was ripped apart by the sharp winds.
Whoosh.
The jaws of everyone watching immediately dropped to the floor. The attack perfectly hit the woman, however she felt a gentle breeze that only managed to move her long pink hair.
"HAHAHAHA" The woman couldn't hold it in. She fell to the ground laughing like her life depended on it. She just couldn't believe what she just experienced.
Back at the others, Clara's expression didn't change, it seems she knew this was going to happen. Chris, John and Zane where shocked. Where did that overly powerful spell disappear to??.
"His mana" Zane started speaking. Everyone looked in his direction because they knew he could see mana, which meant he had a better explanation for what happened.
"His mana straight up refused to attack her. It's like it has a mind of its own. When he first cast the spell, everything was normal. However when the spell got closer to the woman it's mana just .....became harmless"
"So what started out as a dangerous wind vortex ended as a gentle breeze" Zane tried his best to explain what he saw. The others looked at him in confusion, they obviously didn't understand.
Zane sighed "His mana doesn't want to hurt her" he pointed at the still laughing pink haired woman.
The others then nodded in understanding. However, Zane thought that even if Adam's mana would never attack a woman, it doesn't mean that his body wouldn't.
Adam could just walk up to the girl and punch her to death. 'That means he also doesn't want to hurt women, his mana doesn't have a mind of its own. It's just following his own subconscious wishes and he might not even know it' Zane thought.
After half a minute of laughter, the girl stood up and wiped the tears off her face. "You really can't attack me can you?" she said, moving closer to Adam.
Clara narrowed her eyes when the woman moved closer to Adam. She got ready to interfere, she couldn't let her brother be killed just like that.
Adam sighed dejectedly "No I can't."
"Why?" the woman asked. She was really curious, this was too big of a weakness for a mage to have.
"I don't know, it only works on beautiful women though" Adam answered.
"Ohh so you think I'm beautiful" the woman smirked.
"That's obvious" Adam shrugged his shoulders. It really was obvious.
"Do you always hit on your enemies?" The woman suppressed a blush.
"Only the ones I can't kill" Adam smiled.
"So you ARE flirting with me" the woman said.
"Your words lady" Adam raised his hands defensively.

Back at the others.
"Well? what are they saying" Clara asked Zane. Adam had been talking to the woman for over a 5 minutes and she knew Zane could hear them.
"Ummm I don't think I should..."
"Ohh my....he is hitting on the enemy!?" Clara exclaimed. She knew her brother and she also saw Zane's reaction when she asked about their conversation.
A few minutes later, Adam and the woman walked to the others. Everyone noticed the slight shade of red on the woman's cheeks even though her guard was still up. she was currently among enemies after all.
"Hey guys, I see all of you won your fights" Adam said as he arrived.
"Yah, could we say the same about you?" Clara glanced at the pink haired beauty by the side.
"My fight was complicated" Adam chuckled.
"Anyway guys, this is Candy" Adam introduced the pink haired woman.
'Candy?' Everyone thought at the same time. They all thought that was quite the exotic name.
'Have sweets been invented yet?' Zane thought. He hadn't seen any other food except for wheat based products and meat.....Ahem, I'm getting off topic.
"Candy this is my team. The woman giving you the death stare is my twin sister Clara. That over there is John, Chris and that's Zane." No one missed the fact that Adam slipped his hand around Candy's waist when he introduced the team.
'That was fast!' Zane thought.
'Now that's a man, good job Adam' John thought.
'He must teach me his skills' Chris thought.
'You are now on my radar bitch' Clara thought.
"Nice to meet you all" Candy said with a smile. Everyone nodded, except for Clara.
"Let's go find out what happened to our leaders" John suggested, noticing the awkward silence become too much to bear.
Everyone nodded and Adam picked up Clara's opponent, the knocked out bald scar man while John dragged the other twin.
Adam noticed that Candy had no reaction when she saw her unconscious teammates and sighed in relief.
It didn't take long for the group to arrive at the explosion site and where slightly surprised to find that the dust cloud still existed.
A few minutes later though the dust began clearing, with the help of Adam blowing it away with his magic.
The group looked on with bated breaths as the figure of a man became visible in the disappearing dust. The person was facing the other way and the dust was still impending their view.
It also didn't help that David and Peter had the same body type.
The unidentified man took a deep breath and turned around to face the group.
Immediately, Clara, John and Adam mobilized their remaining mana while Candy took a few steps away from the group.
