Heinrich shook his head, "You must not." He said while gently helping Karoline stand up. "Let me take you to your room."
"No," She pushed herself out of his arms with uncontrollable tears rolling down her cheeks, "If you do not let me do this, I will lose my purpose in life!"
Heinrich was shocked to hear such words from Karoline. He couldn't even try to comfort her - being the murderer of her husband and daughter.
"Karoline-"
"Master," Karoline interrupted him with tears flowing out of her eyes, "I apologize for everything…"
She then turned around to leave. Heinrich couldn't even bring himself to say a single word. He could only watch her go. Downhearted by the endless tragic events in his life, Heinrich sat down on the stairs and looked down. An entire mansion depended on him. And he wiped out half the population of that mansion in a single day.
