It was a tempting offer for Rachael. Not only would it save her time, but it would also help her save face by coming back with someone else. Otherwise, she was sure the servants would give her a hard time.
But as many pros as Rachael could see about heading back with Elias, there were too many cons. And the first one on the list was Elias himself. She did not want to face Elias right now.
Her heart was not ready to face her childhood friend.
"Rachael, are you going to sit in the car? Or will I have to drag you in? I will not take 'no' as an answer from you. So, decide what you want to do quickly."
