Rachael should have felt angry at Emily, but the familiarity of having Emily with her made Rachael giggle. She had no idea why she found Emily's behaviour to be so refreshing and familiar.
'No one at the academy was rude to me, and it felt good. But Emily's attitude feels familiar. I can never see her as being anything but rude to me.'
The tower had changed, but Emily had not. It was like stepping back into the past and finding herself out of place.
"Anyway, you can use your previous room to stay the night. I could not change that room's interior because there was a spell on the room. But I did clean it daily."
Rachael walked away before Emily was finished with her explanation. She looked at the room and noticed the weird energy the room had.
She had never noticed it when she was young, but Rachael could feel all the different spells woven into this tower now. This tower was created to keep someone locked up and their presence hidden.
