Rachael jumped down the cliff and held her breath. She had the protection amulet in her pocket, and she had to pray that it was enough to break her fall.
Luckily for her, she managed to land on her feet and did not have any injury. But both Rose and Edward were less lucky than Rachael.
They had the safety amulet as well, but they needed to learn how to use it properly. That was why Rose had a sprained ankle, and Edward had a hurt wrist. But they both were still alive somehow.
"Hey, are you both alright? Can you stand up and walk? We need to gain some distance so that Shiva can find us. She is holding Terry back and will come to retrieve us soon."
Rachael wanted nothing to do with Rose, but she did not wish for Rose to die either. Even Rachael was not mean enough to let Rose die because she did not help her.
