The next day my mom called me and demanded to know how school was going. Normally I wouldn' t tell her a single thing about my life, but since she was my mother she had a special dispensation to pester me for details whenever she wanted. "School goes well, thanks mom," I told her as I hung up the phone and walked back to my room. Hana was sitting on my bed playing with her phone. "Your mother wants to know how school is going," I informed her, putting my laptop down on the desk. "Didn' t they just call you?" Hana asked confusedly. I nodded. "Yeah, it's my birthday today. It's not a big deal." She nodded sympathetically. "Well that explains your lack of enthusiasm about the school day tomorrow." She laughed. I playfully punched her arm and glared at her. "It's not that funny." I complained and then added, "What are you doing tomorrow?" Hana shrugged. "Nothing much, we have to go to school tomorrow and you have to study since I'm giving the test tomorrow ," She said seriously. "And after school, we have a free day. You can come over and we'll order takeout and binge watch anime all afternoon." She suggested with a smile. That sounded like fun to me, so I agreed. "Sounds perfect." I grinned and kissed her lightly before heading towards my dresser to pick out an outfit for the day.
We ordered Chinese food and spent the whole morning watching anime. "Oh man, this is boring," Hana groaned when a scene of a guy trying to catch fire started. I laughed at her annoyed face. "Maybe you shouldn' t have fallen asleep, Hana." I joked and she stuck her tongue out at me. A few minutes later my phone rang and when I picked it up to answer the caller iMessage I saw that it was my dad. "Hello?" I answered hesitantly. "Yuri, your mother is here to see you. Do you mind telling her that I'm in my office?" He said. I looked at Hana who shrugged, apparently she hadn' t realised that I would have to explain things to my parents, especially to my father. "Yeah dad, sure." I said and quickly ended the call. "What happened?" Hana asked when I got off the couch. "My parents want to meet you," I explained as I went through my wardrobe, searching for something to wear. "Whoa really? but they don't know that the person your dating is your teacher right?" Hana asked and stood up to look into my closet. "They're my parents, not yours, Hana. Anyway, they've been asking about you for weeks now so obviously I have to tell them." I sighed and grabbed a black top and a pair of dark blue jeans. Hana raised an eyebrow and I just smirked at her, knowing that she didn' t trust my parents yet. "But Yuri..." She tried saying and I interrupted her by grabbing her hand. "Stop worrying so much, you'll scare me if you keep doing that. Just be yourself and I'm sure they will love you." She looked hesitant at first but I could tell that she was starting to believe me when she smiled at me. "Okay." I hugged her and let go of her, turning back towards my clothes. "Come on! Get dressed and we'll head downstairs." I said happily.
Hana changed into the outfit that I picked out for her. Her hair was done up in two buns on the sides of her head and there was a lot of makeup covering her up which makes me laugh. When she finished changing, Hana looked into the mirror and gasped when she caught sight of herself. "Holy crap Yuri! Did you buy these clothes?" Hana exclaimed looking at her reflection. I shrugged my shoulders and then turned to face her. "Well yeah, I needed something nicer than your old stuff." I told her. She grinned at me and then stepped closer to me. "Thanks for picking these out for me." She gave me another small kiss. "Anytime."
After breakfast we headed towards my parent's house again, this time I had to lead Hana there. I knocked politely on the door when I heard my mother calling my name and opened it after a couple seconds to reveal my dad standing behind my mother. "Ah hello Yuri, is that your teacher?"
writer: 😱 she didn't tell her parents that crazy... (like i said I forget what I write 😢 but here we are) also you telling me I forgot to do the part before they started dating damn it all 😠but I'm definitely going to make it into a future chapter or call it a special on how they got to the point in chapter one and the special might be 2 chapters long or I might post them randomly but most likely wait till I finish them before I post them ( right now Im not interested in doing it but I will in the future though)
