*Purpura*
I lowered my shirt and chuckled. Nah, it would be too embarrassing to do it to a girl.
"Thanks for the offer but I really got to go." I bowed. "I hope that we'll one day meet again. Also, take care of Cinnamon Roll, I think he might need your help again."
"Ya even know my nickname for Sou? I didn't think that he would ever share that."
I covered my smile with my scarf. "He told me by accident."
"Ehh? He did?" She snickered. "Wonder how it slipped his lips."
I shrugged. "That kid can sure talk a lot once he has started."
She covered her mouth and nodded. "Y-yeah. He certainly can." She turned around. "Oh, but before you go, how about I make you something for the road?" She stopped. "Wait, you have to get going now, don't you?"
I sighed. "Go ahead and make it, I'll just go take a shower," I said, removing my shirt.
Her face reddened as she stared at my chest. "Y-ya... ya're a boy?"
A smirk covered my face. "You should've looked at my neck, there's a give away there. Now go, unless if you wish to see the other part of me which proves that I'm a guy."
Her face became beet red. She ran over and pushed me toward the bathroom. "Go and hide! If they discover I have a half naked boy here, my parents will kill me!"
"No need to push," I said, trying not to laugh. She kept her head down and turned away. Ava really was a cute girl.
"So, you were that cinnamon roll's first kiss, huh?" I asked as I opened the door to the restroom.
Ava fidgeted as she began to walk away from me. "S-Sou told ya that too?"
"Yeah, it slipped out too." I touched my lips. "I had to show him that a kiss is meaningless."
"Ya kissed Sou?" she snapped, rushing back to me.
I leaned in close to her. "Yeah. I did."
She pushed me away. "Uh... I'm going to go now..."
I chuckled. 'Too fun!'
*Sehun*
"Sehun, you're back!" Shika said, grinning as she ran down stairs. "Uh, where's Sou? Didn't you say that you found him before hanging up?"
"I told him to head back home." I ran a hand through my raven hair. "That idiot..."
"Idiot? Are you mad at him?"
I turned away. "Of course I am..." 'I'm also mad at myself, though. I shouldn't have talked to Sou like that. It's not like I have any right to be jealous, to begin with...'
"What happened between you two?" she asked, walking over to me.
"I'll like to know too," called out a familiar voice. I looked toward my right and saw a tall, muscular young man with short black hair make his way over to us. "You didn't get into a fight, did you?"
I took a deep breath and calmly walked toward the white marble staircase. "I rather not talk about it. I need some rest," I said, rubbing my forehead.
Shika frowned. "O-okay. But know that if you did get into a fight, Sekin and I can help you iron things out. Right Sekin?"
"Yeah. I rather not have my best friend and cousin fighting one another."
I turned around and mouthed the words, "Sekin, can I talk to you?"
Sekin smiled and nodded. "You're welcome," he said.
I chuckled. Nice detraction there, cuz.
*Sou*
[The Next Day]
I rubbed my tired eyes. I couldn't sleep last night at all... It must've been because of that dumb Purpura... leaving without accepting to eat.
'I wonder if he spent the night someplace warm.'
"Sou?" a voice called out.
I jumped and turned around, only to see Kai run toward me as I walked down the hall.
"Are you alright?" he asked with a frown.
I nodded. "Just a little sleepy is all." I turned only to crash into someone.
"Look out where you're going," the person I had crashed into said as he held me against his chest. "You're lucky it's me and not someone else."
My face turned red as I recognized the voice. I looked up and saw who it was. "S-Sekin."
He gave me a handsome grin. "Ever the hyper guy, I see. Even when you're tired, you don't watch where you're going."
I puffed my cheeks. "That's not being hyper! That's called being klutzy and I'm no klutz!" I said, stomping the linoleum floor with my foot.
He chuckled. "Sure, sure." His opal eyes scanned the school grounds. "Have you seen my cousin? Last night he ran off during our family dinner. When he returned he seemed upset about something. Ava called to tell us that you had gone missing. I looked for you too, but Sehun managed to find you before I could."
He grabbed my arm and leaned in close to my ear. "That boy you were with, is he your boyfriend?"
I shook my head. "No, he's an irritating guy. I'm glad that he's finally gone..."
Sekin grinned. "I'm glad." His face flushed. "I mean, for my cousin. He probably thought that you were going out with that guy. I'll be sure to help you clear things up."
"What guy and who finally left?" Ava asked, walking in unannounced.
"Some guy Sou was seen with the other night it seems," Kai said.
I pouted. "Kai, keep your mouth shut next time. You got to know something, you don't tell Ava any secrets. They'll get spilled eventually."
"Really?"
"Hahaha, very funny," my childhood acquaintance said, crossing her arms. "So, where's Sehun?"
"Where's Sayuri?" I asked.
"She came down with the stomach flu," Kai said.
Ava narrowed her eyes at him. "How do you know that?"
"I took her out to Ame city yesterday to try out this restaurant. However, it seems that the food wasn't what she was used to."
She stepped closer to him. "So you're the one at fault. Don't take my girlfriend to any weird restaurants. Actually, don't take her to any place while you're alone."
Kai backed away and nodded. "G-got it, ma'am."
Sekin chuckled. "Ever the feisty one." He sighed. "I missed talking to you."
"Did you finish the paperwork?" I asked. Sekin was the class president.
He nodded. "Yup. I did!"
Suddenly the flash of a camera went off. "Soukin, will the ship sail?" Shika said, coming out from behind some bushes outside. He entered through and opened window and chuckled. "You sure do look cute together. Though feel kinda bad for my big brother." She turned her colorful eyes toward me. "Maybe you can have a male harem. You could include that guy Sehun saw you."
She raised a hand to her mouth and snickered. "Though now I know why my brother returned with such a foul mood last night."
"A h-harem?" I asked, blushing.
Sekin grumbled. "Shika! Sou is my friend, nothing else!" He snatched the camera from her other hand. "Also, why are you using school property for you little 'hobby'?"
She narrowed her eyes at her cousin. "You sound just like Amateru!"
"Was I summoned?" Amateru said all the way from the other side of the hall. His eyes shifted right away to the camera. "Oh, so that's it." He walked over to Shika and grabbed her by the arm. "You never learn, do you? Sekin, don't allow her to borrow a camera ever again. I'll be taking all the pictures for our assignments from now on."
She kicked her partner. "Who said that I would be paired up with you? Besides, Sekin isn't our class president."
"That's right, it's me," said a girl in a white dress as she emerged from one of the rooms. It was the school council's room.
"Little sis," Sekin said.
She shot her brother a glare. "Don't call me that. Someone like you doesn't deserve to call me sister." She scoffed. "Hiding behind an ill girl to hide your perversions."
Sekin pushed his sister up against a wall. "You are my junior, you have no right to talk back to me! Do you understand."
A sly grin spread across her face. "Your closet is barely existant."
The floor around us began to crack as a white aura began to surround my friend.
"Why are you like this?" Sekin snapped.
His giggled. "Because you have these kinds of reactions. Come now, big brother. You know that I'm stronger than you. I can prove it but I rather not embarrass you in front of all these people."
A crowd had formed all around us. Among those in the crowd was Sehun. As soon as our eyes met he turned away and continued on his way as if nothing had happened.
"Hey!" I yelled. I struggled past the crowd but couldn't get past it. "Hey, move out of the way, I got to talk to Sehun!"
"Get the heck out of here, homo." I froze up upon hearing the familiar voice. I turned my head left and saw the ringleader of the boys who had kicked me all those years ago.
I tightened my hands into fists. "Let me pass or I'll beat you," I said he blocked my way.
The boy chuckled. "Really now? Last time you tried that, you got your brains nearly knocked out of your head." He grabbed me by the collar. "I still remember the punishment I got after that exchange."
I spat on his eye. "Let go of me, bastard!" I yelled, hot tears in my eyes.
"What was that?" he asked, cleaning his eye with his hand. Suddenly the crowd shifted their eyes at us.
Where are all the teachers at right now?
"You heard me," I retorted, spitting at his face this time. He formed a fist and came at me but a hand grabbed his fist.
"Don't start this again!" Sekin said with his hand between the boy and me.
The boy quickly let go of the collar of my brazer. "M-Master Sekin."
Sekin glared at him with distaste. "Don't call me that again. You lost the right to call me that when he dared to hurt my friend." A smug smile formed. "You seem to dislike 'homos' but if you ask me, you act a bit like one. You're always getting jealous of those around me, be they girls or guys."
The boy looked down. "I'm not..."
"I have nothing against them. At the very least Sou is open about it," Sekin said, glaring at the guy.
Sekin's sister chuckled as she stood behind him.
Sekin shot her the same dirty glare, causing her to shut up. "Everyone, get to class! You aren't vultures now, are you?"
The students nodded and went on their way without another word.
Sekin sighed. "Sorry that Yayoi keeps causing you issues."
I stared into his eyes and patted him on the shoulder. "It's fine. Also, don't let what your sister says affect you. I know that you aren't like me. Not that there's anything wrong with people like me." I glanced back at Ava and smiled.
Ava turned around and smiled. "Yeah. If you are then don't feel afraid to admit it, we're here for you. We both know how it feels, especially Sou."
Sekin's smile vanished. "Thanks for the offer. If I was then I would take it." He ran on ahead of us without uttering another word.
