Evelyn examined herself in the mirror and rubbed her small charm between her fingers. She was nervous to attend tonight's dinner. She wasn't one for social events, but she knew that things were going to get even busier leading up to the big ball. She decided to go and see if Peggy was ready. She knew that Peggy was probably loathing the amount of socializing they were going to have to do over the next few days.
"Come in," Peggy called from behind her door.
Evelyn entered her room and laughed. It looked like Peggy had thought to wear the same color as her. "Oh dear, Lacey is going to love this," she laughed.
Peggy groaned. "I am not changing," she put her foot down.
"Then don't; I think it will be funny to watch her reaction."
"I just can't believe that neither of us thought to see what the other was wearing. She isn't going to like this. You know how she hates matching outfits."
