Hastur opened his eyes to find himself in his room in the virtual world. While the familiar surroundings reassured him for a moment, he couldn't shake the memory of his parents' painful cries and tears. He stood up and took in the simple room and furniture, still feeling confused and uncertain.
Hastur groans and then says to himself,
"I will meet them again soon. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts...I'm ok, I'm ok."
After a while, Hastur calms down and thinks about his future. Although he kept a calm demeanor to his parents, he was just a 17-year-old boy. His parents were rich, with his father owning the biggest space mining company and his mother managing multiple other businesses, such as pharmacies and automobiles.
"Now that I think about it, playing MMORPGs for three years...hmm. I should not make plans after reading webnovels. I even timed my operation so that I could start the game at launch!
System, load the game Burning World when it launches. Okay, now let's finish the anime Two Piece! Last time I checked, Buffy was fighting to become a Vice Admiral."
MMORPG Burning World is a new game that will be the first of its kind, utilizing a quantum computer with impressive features like being able to smell and taste in-game. Additionally, developers have claimed that its AI is state-of-the-art and that the entire world's population can play it simultaneously without any lag. With a rich and engaging lore developed by a team of reputed authors such as A.R.R Martin. Due to which many companies are heavily invested to devolved a foothold in this game.
Hastur didn't care about any of that. He had planned to play the game to explore and see every corner and crevice of the game world. He didn't want to create a guild and fight for territory, as he found it to be a big chore. Instead, he wanted to make friends with like-minded individuals and explore the rich lore and story of the Burning World.
System: Burning World has launched! Game activated!"
After hearing the system's announcement, Hastur's eyes brightened, as he was eager to finally play the much-anticipated game.
A bright flash happened as Hastur's vision cleared. He found himself in a large and ancient hall, with a beautiful woman in a blue dress standing in front of him. With her sharp and pointy ears, she spoke to Hastur in a pleasant voice, greeting him in this new world.
"Hello, adventurer. I am Arora, your personal guide to the world of Burning World. As this is your first time logging into Burning World, I will take you through the tutorial. During this tutorial, we will work together to create a personal avatar for you to use during your stay in Burning World. Please be aware of the following restrictions. You cannot swap your gender. You are limited to a 20% overall change in your appearance. Third, the race available to you will depend on your body compatibility. Do you have any questions?"
Hastur replied, "No, I would like to create my avatar."
Arora: "Alright, I will begin scanning your body to find the races compatible with you. Scanning complete. These are the races available to you...Error, error."
Hastur cried "what happen!!!"
Arora spoke in distraught voice that "No starting race is compatible with your body. Can you wait for some time, adventurer? I will contact the development team for further instructions.
Hastur was feeling frustrated. While he wanted to play the game and become free from the physical restrictions of his body, it seemed like even in the virtual world his body would continue to create problems for him. After a sigh, he gave in to the situation and replied: "Alright, ma'am. You contact the dev team. I will wait, but in the mean time, may I browse through the race and class lists while I wait?"
Arora responded: "Sure thing. There is a white screen in front of you. Browse through the basic class and race list."
Hasturs was confronted with a strange white screen in the shape of a tablet. In his hand, however, it looked like a phone. He open it to find a race list that showed five names: Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, and Undead. He click them to find more information.
Human:The Humans are a well-rounded and versatile race, with balanced stats across the board. They have no particular weaknesses but also do not excel in any particular trait. "As usual, humans are a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none race. While Versatility talent is useful, it does not grant mastery in any particular field. Still, the option to dip into both Order and Chaos talents can be helpful. However, the fact that using skills from both sects will have a detrimental effect on your reputation within these factions."
Dwarves: Dwarves are known for their great strength and endurance, and are also known for their keen mining and crafting skills. With this comment, Hastur expresses his disappointment and frustration as he is using any point to bring the race down because he feels bad that he can't use them.

This allows you to withstand harsh conditions and ailments such as disease with ease, while not needing food or rest like normal. Your undead nature enhances your resilience and provides you with a unique advantage in the harsh environment of the Burning World, allowing you to stay focused and alert for days on end.
Creature of the Dark: As an undead, you are a creature of the dark, drawing upon its power and using it to bolster your abilities. "Well well, if it isn't the rotting bastard. Just by glancing at ya', I know the spawn area's gonna be filled with edgelords or emo's, alright. Alright, lemme check out the classes. Actually, who cares? I just wanna be a damn warrior.
There are five basic classes in the game: thug, apprentice, archer, thief, and cleric. All of these can go down different paths, like a warrior can become a full attacker or choose to become a tank, according to the game developers.
Class-
Thug: Look at you go, starting out as a lowly thug. Don't feel too bad, though... you gotta start somewhere, right? As an up-and-coming warrior, you bring your brute strength and aggression with you. But, honestly, we didn't bother with making you any better since the world of thuggery doesn't exactly value skill and wisdom. But hey, don't let that discourage you, and remember, there's no need to try and show off just yet. You've still got a long way to go, kid.
They get their damage from strength point.
"Man the developers surely wanted us to start from the lowest point they didnt even bother to make us a warrior "
Meanwhile, In the Burning World game headquarters.
Developer 1"And then the guy complains, why is he just a cheap thug just because it's the beginning class. There's a reason why we're making you start from the bottom, and you should consider yourself lucky that we didn't say start everyone off with no class. I mean, everyone loves a good underdog story, ya know? It's all about facing your hardships with courage, and seeing where your skill can take you."
Devloper 2"Geez, the game has just started, and players are already so demanding. It's like they don't even appreciate all the work the developers are putting in. They're already complaining about every little detail, even though it hasn't even been launched yet. What more do these players want? We have fixed all the bugs and made sure everything is balanced, so players should be grateful for our efforts."
Devloper 1" Well our salary and promotion depends on their satisfaction."
Arora" Excuse me, sir, there seems to be a problem. I see that there's a player who is unable to match with any of the starting races."
Both the developer look at each other before one of them asked.
Game Dev 1 "I wonder what could have gone wrong. We definitely made sure that the game was accessible and friendly to all players, regardless of their abilities. Perhaps there's been a mistake in the race compatibility code, causing this player to become incompatible with all the races."
Game Dev 2 "Yeah, that does seem a bit odd.Let's take a closer look to see what's causing this error."
Game Developers saw something unusual in the code: a player with an impossible height of 292 cm. In disbelief, they wondered how to address this incompatibility, trying to find a solution that works for everyone.
Devloper 1 says in disbelief"What in the world? Where in the world did this big guy come from, and how the heck is he only 17 years old? That's wild."
Developer 2 "I don't even know how it's even possible, but that sure is one huge player. And only 17 years old? I don't know what kind of genes they have but we need to find a solution to ensure they can play our game. Let me take a closer look at their profile and see what I can do."
Developer 1 "Yeah, it totally looks like a manga protagonist to me. Impossibly tall, and muscular at only 17 years old?
Developer 2 "Haha, yeah, that's right. We gotta give him something worthy of a protagonist. Something epic, something grand. But, we can't let him be too powerful. We just gotta find a way to make it work." giggles
The former developer was in disbelief when he realized what his friend was proposing, his jaw dropped. After a moment, he burst out laughing as well.
Developer 1: "There'll be blood now in the first area with this player?"
Developer 2: "That's right, we're in for one hell of a ride. I mean, can you imagine what kind of destruction this guy could cause in the first few zones? He'll be mowing down the starting mobs and leaving a trail of blood in his wake."

Suddenly, Arora reappeared infront of him. "Adventurer, the development team has sent us a suitable race option for your character's physique." Hastur looked up at the screen, curious to see what race had been provided for him. To his surprise, there was only a single option, with the name "Titan" listed next to it.
