Quest description: The poet Cristan is experiencing a bout of creative burnout, and is in need of some inspiration for his writing. He has decided to take on a unique and possibly dangerous opportunity, seeking to travel at night and witness the adventurers fighting for their life.

"Well that's one way to find inspiration."

There was still seven hours to go before the Cristan quest would commence, so I started with the log collection task. This mission was fairly simple and easy for me to complete, as collecting the logs felt as easy as collecting feathers. The foreman in charge of the task was so impressed by my efficiency that they chose to issue the task again and again, but after doing it twice I left the lumber yard. Then, I made my way to the mine but I was left stumped when I arrived in mines. I encountered a old challenge, something, I had faced quite a lot in my life.

"Eh i should have guessed it 'sigh'."

The size of the mine prevented me from entering the mine, I could barely fit the entrace but won't be able any further, much less mine or gather the required resources. Thus, I removed the mine quest and sought out help from Paul, to gain an advantage over the monkey mob. Upon arrival at the shop, The situation was quite different compare to last time, The entire shop crowded with players. Paul then noticed me standing outside the shop and shouted to me.

"Use the backdoor."

I enter the shop through the backdoor, finding Paul looking at me with a grin.

"Told you it is busy at the morning."

"Buzz off the only reason they are here is to buy the torch."

"Still they are here, so what can i do for you my gigantic freind."

I explain to Paul that I am hunting the slingshot monkeys, and therefore, I require a weapon capable of attacking them from a distance. I also explain that I need an item to attract the monster to me during the night.

"Those monkeys sure are such a trouble, well i can recommend you three items against those hellspawn. First, this slingshot make them taste their own medicine but you need to good aim to use it. Second, i have some javelins with how big this are as long as you are not blind you are most likely to hit something. Lastly, this shield use it to protect yourself until you are near them and just destroy the tree with your strength it will be child's play. Then for attracting the monster here is a special liquid bait you can just open the bottle and they will fly towards you.

"Hmm give me the 10 javelins, the shield, and the bait."

"The javelins are 5 copper for each and the shield is 30 copper take the bait as buy one get one free, your total would be 80 copper."

"5 copper per javelin thats one night in the inn."

"Hey the reason inn is so cheap for you is because the adventurer guild is subsiding for you guys after some time they will stop doing it, plus you must be living at the cheapest room because 5 copper too cheap even or this rundown village."

"Alright alright, i will buy at your price."

"By the way buy some traveling food or the night it will help you to regenerate faster, i doubt you have the money to buy potions, even cheapest one starts from 5 silver."

After paying 100 copper to paul i inspected my purchases. My first item was giant quiver with 10 javelins.

After acquiring the necessary items from Paul, I headed to the south of the Hola forest. Unlike the northern and western parts of the forest, which were filled with numerous player characters, the southern and eastern parts of the forest were significantly less inhabited. The reason behind this could be attributed to the presence spiders and monkeys in the south, as well as the presence of bears in the east, both the monster very tough foes to face in battle.

"shit i am already getting pelted by this bitches."

As I entered the forest, I noticed the monkeys quickly attacking me, with their tails sending projectiles at me. Feeling hampered by my large body, I retaliated by equipping my javelins and chucking them at a group of monkeys, hoping to bring them down or otherwise slow the rate of their attacks. I launched 3 javelins in succession only two of them mange to hit the entire group, but my attack was able to disperse the monkeys.

Having successfully stunned the monkeys and gained a short respite, I got a brief chance to analyze their appearance. They had dark grey fur and pinkish skin.

Slingshot monkey Level 6

HP - 70/150

I didn't give them anytime reorganized and swiftly dispatch two of the using "consecutive strike" and then use "trust" to kill another one without hesitation. This allowed me to maintain an upper hand against the monkeys, even when they were up in the trees. Once their numbers had been halved, the remaining monkeys tried to flee, but I dispatched them with my javelins.

Congratulation! You have defeated slingshot monkey

"well that was tuff."

Once I had collected my javelins that I had just used during the battle with the monkeys, I proceeded to move deeper into the forest to seek out any additional opponent to face. Given my shield's ability to protect me from the monkeys' attacks, I remained relatively unscathed and undamaged as I slaughtered any monkey I came across. However, at one point due to my arrogance, I was ambushed by a large spider.

"Well thats kind a pathetic."

The spider, as an opponent, did not possess any exceptional speed or agility, nor did it attack in a group like the wolves, nor does it have any range attacks like the monkeys. Similarly, the spider was not particularly large or imposing, with its own health and attack stats failing to rival that of the wolves or the stag. Usually such an monster in games use poison but due to my racial talent, the poison didn't have any effect on me.

Giant Tarantula Level 8

HP - 350/350

The spider that attempted to ambush me was roughly 1 meter tall and had sharp, deep-brown fur all over its body. It also possessed 8 menacing eyes that likely added to its overall appearance of danger and menace. After its ambush failed to bring me down, and I was able to defeat him with relative ease, due to my huge range.

Congratulations! You have defeated a giant tarantula

After taking a break to rest, I headed back to the inn, as for sone reason I was experiencing a feeling of hunger in the game. Additionally, I want to watch some instructional guides on how to effectively fight with a spear, to increase my skills with them. Once I arrived at the dining area, I promptly ordered five plates of today's special, as the inn did not have any other option for meal selections and choices. Despite the limitations within the area, the food prepared was relatively decent. With some downtime available now, I reflected upon the quest for Elena, one of the target having already been slain.

'Maybe the moose had kill it, or maybe there is someone else they manage to kill it. Is it a player or a npc i have no idea. I must be extra carefull while doing the quest.'

I turned to YouTube for help in improving my spear usage in MMORPGs, searching for a comprehensive guide that had the highest number of views. As night began to fall, I continued to pass the time by watching the recommended instructions, until it was time for me to commence the Cristan quest. According to the quest i must arrived at the entrance of the east forest, which was known to be a bear territory. Upon arriving at the designated location and time of the quest, I spotted Cristan waiting with a dazed look on his face.

"Hello Cristan or should i say boss, looks like i am the only guy that came."

Cristan daze turn into frown as he spoke.

"How do you know my name."

"Marie the girl from the inn told me about you."

"That loud mouth. Well whatever you are the big guy everyone is talking about, no wonder even i who came from city is shocked much less those guys. The reason only you came because i only ask for one guy today."

"Today?"

"Yeah, yesterday i hired a party of seven to fight in the wolf area they weren't even able to enter inner area."

"Well i can't guarantee i can do any better, plus i am alone unlike them."

"No need to be concerned about being surrounded, as bears are typically solitary hunters and do not hunt in groups. Furthermore, no need to worry about protecting me, I am quite capable of defending myself."

I take a look at his profile to see how strong he is

Cristan Level 20

Elite grade

Health: 5000

'His health is quite good, looks like on average npc and monster will have more stats compare to players, plus i don't know what his class is.'

"Alright then shall we move boss. By the way you can call me Ren."

"Let's go and don't call me boss just use Cristan."

"Ok Cristan."

We entered the eastern forest in the dead of the night, in contrast to the northern or western parts of the forest, which were much busier and more populated due to the presence of a larger number of player characters. The eastern region, on the contrary, was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to hear the soft rustling of leaves and the gentle singing of insects. However this quietness won't last any longer.
